Going down to 10 men after 18 minutes isn't Appleton's fault, having a ridiculous amount of injuries and then a sickness bug, isn't MA's fault, having to play players who are carrying injuries isn't MA's fault. Not backing him and not backing Quitchley in January is not MA's fault. The fault has to go to the top. Sadler IS NOT the saviour all you sheep seem to think. I would be delighted if he sold up and went back to funding hedges or whatever it is he does.

Not making changes is MA's fault.
 
How many points have we lost late on this season? Cant hold out for a result, january cant come quick enough and we cant piss about, we need a new CB, CM and a striker, oh also put Grimshaw back in ** goal instead of Maxwell the crab 🤬

bit of an over reaction Pete. We don't know what the wage bill is in relation to Financial Fair play rules etc but something need to change , changing owner is a no no its not going to happen .As for Mansford etc , again we dont know what reallly goes on in player negotiations so hard to blame them . It is however the managers job to motivate and get the best out of the players . They have proved they can do it against the top teams so how come so poor against others , THAT is surely down to managers tactics , training and motivation
 
I'm not a knee jerk supporter but I cannot understand why no changes were made to the playing personnel. We can have 5 subs, and made 1 on 89 minutes after they scored. That's simply wrong when playing with 10 men since the 15th minute.

He either isn't tactically aware, or he is trying to make a point, neither of which are going to end well.

Loads of managers would. Keep us up they are a hero, we go down they get to rebuild the squad and have a fresh start. It's a great job and a no brainer for a lot of those managers / coaches out of work.

He’s made 10 signings. Some for decent fees.
 
Sadler has three choices now.

1) Get rid of Appleton for a better coach

2) Get much better players in the transfer window

3) Get rid of Appleton and get better players in

You’re right none of those things are Appletons fault. Picking Maxwell, Appletons fault, poor tactics, Appletons fault, poor and late subs, Appletons fault.
 
We’ve struggled ever since Bridcutt got injured. We are more effective with Kenny further forward and Patino given more freedom to be himself.

The constant capitulation to crosses is the biggest concern

I'd have brought CJ on at 60 mins and taken Gaz off, even though he scored a good goal.
 
this is actually one of those games where Appleton didn't really do much wrong, but didnt do anything to ally my worries that he's not up to the job. Probably the strongest team he could have put out, the players looked up for it.

I've watched the Marv incident three times and i cant even see any contact, both players had a high foot, their player went through, Marv pulled back. If anything it should have been a yellow for simulation in my opinion. Saying that it was a poor ball back to Marv and just follows on from many of the defensive errors we make, we create problems for ourselves defensively and that is a general Appleton era problem, the first goal was very poor, Maxwell has had two really dodgy games. hes a decent keeper who is another who seems to have had the confidence kicked out of him.

Cant say we played badly, but we didn't play well either, lot of fight a lot of energy expended but not a lot of quality against a team who are truly shit.

its a hard pill to swallow.

i suppose its a record we've managed to get two really shit refs in one game rather than just the one.
 
Nothing wrong with the refs ,you cant keep blaming them for our poor performances. Marv deserved a red , slow to tackle , the ball was passed him then he kicked their player at top of leg and he was last man.
