Sad to hear. When there have been threads on here, about your favourite ever Pool game, a regular shout out is, when we beat Arsenal at home in a FA Cup 3rd round replay. Sadly now such memories will no longer exist for future generations of footy fans.

We beat Hull City 6-2 at home one season under Billy Ayre.

Yes, I completely forgot. I was at Goodison to watch Kevin Phillips miss a pen near the end. Apparently he had never scored a goal against Everton, and wasn't going to that day either. Don't know whether he did subsequently with Palace.

Was in the Scratching Shed for the Torquay game, and was in n the South Paddock against QPR, going mental when Andy Garner scored at that end, equaliser I think. This is the only game I have seen Pool play in the 5th round of the FA Cup since watching us.
