Some great names on there - Andy Ritchie at Oldham was a good man. Believe he came to us for an interview under the O's.

I was at the match, and QPR and QPR first replay.

Just looking at the comment above, I am sure I remember Gordon Owen scoring a great goal against someone.

We passed the ball from our defence through midfield, someone launched it across from the left wing over the right hand side and he kind of smashed it into top bins.

Now all that might be the passage of time, but it's one the goals which I think I remember.

Whether it was this one - I don't know.

My recollection of QPR away was being dominated and Steve Mcilhargey having a brilliant night, with one memorable tip over the bar which was one of the main photographs in the Gazette.

I remember the game vs Torquay because it was a great chance to go through. The goal I think was a scrappy close range finish towards the Kop end (watching from the South Stand) and they matched us quite well to the point where the game was never put to bed.

Was in the Scratching Shed for the Torquay game, and was in n the South Paddock against QPR, going mental when Andy Garner scored at that end, equaliser I think.

This is the only game I have seen Pool play in the 5th round of the FA Cup since watching us.

Everton 2012?

Yes, I completely forgot. I was at Goodison to watch Kevin Phillips miss a pen near the end.
Apparently he had never scored a goal against Everton, and wasn't going to that day either.
Don't know whether he did subsequently with Palace.
