Critchley did his best to ruin Jerry. He never gave him regular football, he was always in and out of the team. He only flourished when played regularly by the two managers who replaced him and he flourished in a struggling side. I would have him back tomorrow.
Agreed. He held the ball up well. He was instrumental in the first goal. He was not given one chance to score by any of our players. When he went off there was simply no one to hold the ball up as he had been doing and we ended up under more pressure. For a big lad he has actually got a good...
I firstly watched Newcastle vs West Ham. I am so glad Newcastle won, like many on here I became a West Ham hater following their fans behaviour in our play offs. What a great game. End to end , loads of goals, very enjoyable.
I later watched two of the Premierships finest. City vs Arsenal. I...
He has had a good game. Showed great energy throughout. It was a tired shot.
He was in great form up until the Christmas break then Critchley hardly played him over the Christmas period. He then drifted out of the pic. I don't understand why. He was just getting better and better. His pass...
One of the best summaries I have read today.. i totally agree about Casey he was our best player.. I like Gabriel but he is not an attacking wing back. You might as well put Hamilton on. I thought he would have flourished in the first half with the size of that pitch and the space it would have...
Is it not Critchleys 3 at the back that is making these lads look so poor. The centre half is generally a big strong unit, good in the air and often lacks pace. They do what they are good at.
Critchleys then decides to play centre halves as full backs in a 3 at the back formation and we wonder...
I dont get this Norburn dislike. He puts himself about and wins a lot of the ball. He plays good passes , tries to get forward and I thought he had a good game today. I did think that he noticeably tired in the second which is presumably why he was substituted.
