Is that the game and result

Not stating the obvious but we can only concentrate on our own points haul. As of now we are 4 behind 6th place without games in hand accounting for.
A mythical aim of 75 points still requires an average of approaching 1.7 points per game…. N that would require the teams above averaging less than a point a game !

We can score some real victories the next two weeks .... when teams above us play.
A defeat for them would be like a win for us.

Definitely the right team selection O'Donnell bossed it goal and was old school in getting the ball forward and over the halfway line instead the standard 8 passes between 3 centre halves.
We looked more solid without Connolly in Defence Connolly isn't a better centre half than Marv or Casey
That was our best midfield without Carey starting too.
Joseph man of the match.

A grafting performance. We were the better side but we really did look tired. Well done a battling 3 points.

With 3 wins in 3, we've already started a charge, and great to get the away hoodoo off our backs.
Stating the obvious but we just need to keep it going, as we've had a good couple of games several times, only to falter again.
We're not going down, so imo there's really no reason Critch shouldn't take the handbrake off for the rest of the season.
A very decent chance of the play-offs (again) if we keep this up.

Very pleased with the battling win, after a great 2nd half performance v the Forest millions.
Probably our best 2 or 3 weeks of the season so far

Can't see the playoffs as a reality, we're relying on teams above to have a disastrous second half of the season.
I wouldn't say we are relying them to have a disastrous second half is needed.
Just us beating the ones above us and them dropping a few points here and there should be sufficient. We have
18 games to go 54 points to play for. If we can get 36-40 points from 54 then playoffs is achievable. UTMP 🍊

To ignite the promotion charge? Great result, got the away win hoodoo off our backs, well played Critchley and the team 👍

We'll know better by mid-February.
After the Charlton game, the following two matches are Stevenage (A) and Oxford (H) - get 4 or 6 points from those two, and we're certainly in with a shout with a third of the season still to go.

We've shown we can dig deep for a result, and I think Bristol Rvrs are a good side, definite top half finish I'd expect. So to win there, when they hadn't lost for a while in the league, after going 120mins against a Prem side three days ago, is extremely impressive.

Joseph is going to be an outstanding player for us, and together with the return of Gabriel and Lavery, it's given us a massive boost. Like having three new players.

I'd say the play offs are very achievable from our position, we just need to believe in ourselves a bit more. There are clearly 8 teams in this league that are a cut above the rest, and I'm certain that we're better than Stevenage and Oxford. There are no guarantees, but the last couple of weeks have been very encouraging.

Just to add also, I've criticised Critchley a lot but today his lineup and subs were spot on imo.

that's being very economical with the truth.
There is some utter nonsense being posted on this thread. No sense of reality after one away win.

The same people that told us we have no right to win every game (when we lose) are now expecting us to go on some miracle run of results after a couple of wins when in reality we have about a 10% chance of making the playoffs even if we go on a good run.

Sorry to burst everybody’s balloon, but Pool, were overrun after the Gas scored. Dembele disappeared, as did Pool generally up until halftime. O’Donnell made two fantastic saves to keep Pool ahead. Fair play to Critch ! He saw the problem, hooked Dembele, and stiffened the midfield. After that, the Gas never crests a chance. A word about Kyle Joseph. This boy is a player and a half. He ran them ragged.

So Critchley reacted at 2-1 up, and we then managed the game and saw it out? Good away performance against a team seeing at home.

We’ve had too many false dawns this season, but today is definitely a step in the right direction.

We’ve always looked ok when scoring first. Will be interesting to see how we react in the next away game where we go behind.

Cheery as always.

I would say IMO that its a lot higher than 10%

Not sure where the 10% figure comes from. We’re definitely one of 8 teams in the mix. A lot of games, injuries and loss of form to hit teams yet, hopefully not us.

We can beat anyone. Go on a decent run and we'll make the playoffs. We play everyone above us and they have to play each other, there'll be dropped points.

We've looked decent in the last few games, nothing wrong with showing a bit of optimism.
