Don't give in. Just go......and make sure your mate who you go with goes too.Yep, but I suppose it's a cup we wish we weren't eligible for and there's been bugger all promotion.

Under 14 entry rule which makes sense. Why? I started to go to watch the Pool inn1970 with school friends when we first went to secondary school at the age of 11. No problems at all.
You could say :-The club won't have budgeted for this so surely this game is a bonus
It's got fuck all to do with being tight i spend more on travel than ticket prices
It's about getting as many people into the ground as possible to give the players a proper home advantage
Empty seats earn the club nothing
That's nothing, zero, nada, fuck all
If you want to pay more there is nothing stopping you I'm sure Simon wouldn't mind you throwing a few quid in
I'm guessing that you didn't think it was big and clever to throw bottles and flares etc back then. Why? I started to go to watch the Pool inn1970 with school friends when we first went to secondary school at the age of 11. No problems at all.
You speak for yourself.Yep, but I suppose it's a cup we wish we weren't eligible for and there's been bugger all promotion.
I doubt we will get any more in the ground whether its £10 or £15 as you say its on Sky, it’s a Tuesday night in February and the Champions League is on TV. The relentless debate about ticket pricing never seems to stop but if people have issues with it and it could be for good reason then they won’t turn up, but should we make the final it makes a bit of a mockery when perhaps 20000 rock up at WembleyWhy increase it from the normal price without the same reasons as Bolton? 15 for the policing and also because they would sell the away end out.
Posh won't bring many and there isn't the same need for policing.
It's on sky so get it filled, a tenner is fine surely.
There's a few things in it's favour.I doubt we will get any more in the ground whether its £10 or £15 as you say its on Sky, it’s a Tuesday night in February and the Champions League is on TV. Saw him in Crewe still laughing years laterI bet it's on the 21st.... I'm off to see Milton Jones that night!
I am going, I meant normal people. You speak for yourself.
Get behind your team. Jesus Christ, it's £15 . £15, I bet you'd pay that for a takeaway......it's your football team who you support.
Fuck me, what is wrong with people.
It's not like we've been putting reserve/youth team players out.
These are our first team squad players....
Some good points there JJ. The North where l sit (well stand) is definitely getting back to where it should be and Tuesday was a very good example as much appreciated by Critch and the players, but again l doubt whether the price of an adult ticket of £10 or £15 will significantly affect the attendance against Posh. I hope I'm wrong but l expect the North to be well attended and the West less, l doubt the South will be open again! There's a few things in it's favour.
Jan is gone, a lot of home games in Jan and a notoriously skint month after Xmas, 1 game from Wembley, likely bit better weather.
Of course being on sky won't help and the competition isn't universally loved by many, but after the games we've seen in it and some of the drama, people should be more excited.
Knowing how much the fans can make a difference the club should do all it can to fill as much as possible. A full north would help massively.
It's another complete bonus game again, we've been very fortunate with the home draws in this competition, no bad rivalry to consider either.
Yes. A bunch of us from school started going on our own once we were at secondary school. Mainly because our parents all ran guesthouses, so weren't available to take us to the game until the Lights finished. Bear in mind this was the 70s, when going to the game was a lot livelier than now..Why? I started to go to watch the Pool inn1970 with school friends when we first went to secondary school at the age of 11. No problems at all.
They didn't get recognition for the Fleetwood allocation either. My lad went - he had enough from other games thankfully. That’ll knock a couple of thousand off the gate…
£10 ST holders and £15 for non to get the ground full or whack Peterborough in the south and just focus on the two stands at £15.…the Firestick supporters branch will be saving their dough for Wembley whatever the price and the atmosphere was as good as it’s been on Tuesday with not many there.
IF we make it to Wembley I reckon the Club should subsidise the few hundred who went to Barrow in game 1… charge them £20.04 (2004 last LDV win) and then cover the the rest giving them two choice of ticket options. A nice touch for their commitment
I didn’t go to Barrow btw
It happened in the old days … so it’s ok ???Why? I started to go to watch the Pool inn1970 with school friends when we first went to secondary school at the age of 11. No problems at all.
That’s the issue. Too many wannabe hooligans in stone island, vaping, chucking flares and looking for a fight with any one - until someone says boo to them. Absolute menacesI'm guessing that you didn't think it was big and clever to throw bottles and flares etc back then.
In that case you are normal.I am going, I meant normal people.
Dreadful. I know Bolton lads who were pissing themselves saying they had more fans there than us… that’s not what we’re known for. I can’t understand why people can’t spend £15 ffs it’s a couple of pints! It was only £15 against Bolton and loads stayed away.
The club could and should be rewarded financially because they have invested wisely in the players who have got the club to this point. You pay more then
I've said it a few times to all these super fans who dont want cheaper prices
Pay more! come on put your money where your mouth is
Depressing isn't it arguing about wanting cheap tickets or not going out of some nonsensical argument about PL kids in the tournament. In that case you are normal.
It's normal to want to support your team.
It's very strange and odd behaviour to not want to support your team in a semi final with the prize being a final at Wembley.
That is what frustrates me, why I'm so vociferous about this ridiculous situation.
This is one reason why we will always be smaller than Blackburn, PNE, Bolton, Burnley.....even Wigan would put 10k in their ground for this game.
The supporters of these clubs must be laughing at us.
Some supporters of this club don't deserve this game.
As flippant as the remark is, Personally I think it would be good to reward those that did make the effort to go to all the games as a thank you. I don’t fall into that category but it would be a good thing to do.And Firestick Fred still won't go.
Free to anyone who went to the early rounds and full price for the Johnnycomelatelys.
Keep it at £15 and keep the moaning fuckers away. Much prefer to have 3000 hardcore then 10,000 plastics trying to advise SS how to run a business. Maybe for once give something back to the owner who saved the club give the club a massive pay day! They should do it at TENNER A TICKET. Get that North Stand rocking and let’s ’av it.
Fantastic post. I doff my hat sir....Keep it at £15 and keep the moaning fuckers away. Much prefer to have 3000 hardcore then 10,000 plastics trying to advise SS how to run a business. Maybe for once give something back to the owner who saved the club give the club a massive pay day!
AbsolutelyI do hope the game is well attended and it would be brilliant extra revenue for the club. If not though the same fans who went to the Bolton game in the last round will I'm sure make a huge noise for the players who despite what some might think of this trophy have still done well to get to the semis. They deserve a good backing after some entertaining games in this competition and whilst some fans may dismiss the pizza cup it's a huge game for the players to try to get to play at Wembley and I just hope they get the support they deserve.
I’ve also seen us win it but the finals felt like exhibition games, there were no wild celebrations when we scored. Let’s not pretend it’s a prestigious competition.Depressing isn't it arguing about wanting cheap tickets or not going out of some nonsensical argument about PL kids in the tournament.
I been watching us 40 years+ and in my lifetime it's the only cup competition I've seen us win and when they put me in a box will be the only one we will ever win.
So not going to a semi is bonkers
I've told you it isn't about meThe club could and should be rewarded financially because they have invested wisely in the players who have got the club to this point.
The extra could be used to fund a new player next season. Just a thought !!
If £15 is too much for you then don't go. Even at a tenner you probably won't go.
** tight miserable twats.
1 game away from Wembley and yet again people want a few bob off...
Then they moan when we don't make a signing....fuck off you tight twats.
Like I keep saying I'm sure Simon wouldn't mind if some people pay moreIt amuses me that threads like this wind you up and you explode in bizarre and irrational rage.
Simon Sadler's sycophant in chief. "Yes Mr Sadler Sir"
Tell that to the players and fans wild celebrations after Tuesday's penalty shootout.I’ve also seen us win it but the finals felt like exhibition games, there were no wild celebrations when we scored. Let’s not pretend it’s a prestigious competition.
I’d take three points at Peterborough over beating them in the BSM.
Like I keep saying I'm sure Simon wouldn't mind if some people pay more
When I mention that they all go mute
Probably because they are all full of shite
Yeah I did see that, pen shootouts are tense and exciting.Tell that to the players and fans wild celebrations after Tuesday's penalty shootout.
Stop suggesting a price decrease for a semi final then.I've told you it isn't about me
I went against Bolton in the last round and my travel costs more than any ticket price so please stop with your bullshit and club propaganda
Speak for yourself our lot went banana's. It's a trophy; we will take anything. Football is about winnings things!Yeah I did see that, pen shootouts are tense and exciting.
If you went to the LDV finals in Cardiff you’d know what I mean though surely? It’s a nice day out but it’s not comparable to a play off final where it actually means something.
I did but that was a long time ago even I was young!Yeah I did see that, pen shootouts are tense and exciting.
If you went to the LDV finals in Cardiff you’d know what I mean though surely? It’s a nice day out but it’s not comparable to a play off final where it actually means something.
Don't tell Critch. He'll be after signing him.Saw him in Crewe still laughing years later
It’s a cup semi final one game away from Wembley ffs. People shouldn’t need any more incentive. They should do it at TENNER A TICKET. Get that North Stand rocking and let’s ’av it.
The point is people do need the incentive as we saw against Bolton. The people on here suggesting £10 tickets will probably go at £15 or £20 anyway, they just want more casual fans to attend. No point arguing over it, most of our fans do need persuading. That might not be purely just financial, the club should probably big up the fact it's a cup semi final, one game from Wembley etc. It’s a cup semi final one game away from Wembley ffs. People shouldn’t need any more incentive.
Some of our fans want everything while giving absolutely nothing.
Don’t want to pay? Don’t go. But stop expecting the club to hold your hand
Why do we need to persuade anyone? To fill some seats? The point is people do need the incentive as we saw against Bolton. Yes the atmosphere in the North was very good, but ideally we would fill more of the ground and spread the atmosphere, rather than at one end of the ground. It brings more money in for one and helps grow the fanbase over the long term. Why do we need to persuade anyone? To fill some seats?
I couldn’t give a monkeys about some empty seats.
The atmosphere with the few thousand committed supporters against Bolton was much better than a lot of Saturday afternoons with a 10k attendance. As was commented on by the players and manager, and a lot of posters of here.
It amuses me that threads like this wind you up and you explode in bizarre and irrational rage.

I support the club you halfwitStop suggesting a price decrease for a semi final then.
If support for your club is propaganda then I'm guilty as charged......as opposed to your stance of the polar opposite.
I support the club you halfwit
6 hour round trip for the Bolton cup game on Tuesday
