Got to win on Saturday so the players go into the match on Tuesday night with confidence.

If you can’t get remotely excited about your football team being 1 game away from playing at Wembley no matter what level they play at or what comp, then I think you need a new hobby.

Good chance for a day out or weekend after the boycott one and the Covid nonsense.

Obviously, the league is the priority but it didn’t do Bolton or Plymouth any harm last season as both made the top 6.

I know he was an absolute pain, back in the day, but, I've got to say, on matchdays, I don't recall Karl Oyston having a punctuality problem, as such, and I'm just amazed he had people actually keeping tabs on what sort of times he'd choose to show up for games - although I appreciate there will doubtless have been certain occasions when he may, indeed, have been running a little early, or, alternatively, a bit late. But, come on, cut the guy some slack!

Obviously, in the past, certain people had nothing better to do than to keep a check on dear old Potter's timekeeping ...

100% agree. FFS, some people only seem happy when they can moan and complain. AK is quite right - get a new hobby if you’re not excited when your team is one game from Wembley.

Who has tanked us on the road this season? Think only Port Vale have won by more than 2. In fact, I'm struggling to think of a game where the margin has been 2.

So you don't think we got tanked at Port Vale then? I was joining in the spirit of what excuses would be made for not attending the cup game. Here's hoping this is one excuse they will not have to use.

That will be why I said only Port Vale have scored more than two against us. Apart from that no one has looked like tanking us away from home, despite our appalling record.

Good point about the excuse.
 
Yep so apart from the games Wiz has forgotten about, when else....

That Lincoln game shouldn't have been a 3 nil either and another deflection off Marv, we've had a lot of deflections, some unlucky some asking for trouble.

Totally agree @Insider - it'll be two of the Top Four who go up automatically in this league and Posh are very much in there (although last night will have upset the applecart). In some ways, whoever loses at London Road might actually end up in the Final because of it (we'll have blown the Play Offs, they'll have blown automatic if either lose and therefore concentrate on the cup?)
