Stevenage

Just shows the ridiculous reactionary posts on here from Saturday were a bit ott.

If we win Saturday, who’s to say Stevenage won’t lose at port vale? Would start to feel a bit different wouldn’t it.
Shame on you for such an honest post.
You know as well as I do that any positivity or optimism is not allowed on this forum. In fact I’m very surprised that the mods don’t intervene and block the posts.

Just watched the last 20 minutes and Stevenage were rubbish. They won’t be going up that’s for sure.

Reading beating Stevenage just highlights how poor we are in reality.
Or how variable and unpredictable football is . Fleetwood , Exeter and Reading all won tonight . All 3 results way off the coupon . Too soon to write off the season . Injuries, freak results, loss of form , finding form...still lots to actually play for ...if only to be a better unit for wherever we find ourselves next season

It's a shame we're having to rely on others slipping up rather than us doing the business ourselves.
Most teams in most divisions have to rely on other teams slipping up . It's sort of how football works .
Actual success is extremely limited. We've been hugely spoilt over recent seasons . Probably not this season ...but sometimes that helps build anticipation, hope , possibility and , finally, occasionally, sometimes out n out madness

The big problem isn't other teams losing, it's us winning. Basic fact, if you don't win you don't catch up.

From 5th to 8th can all be poop from now until the end of the season and we'll finish 8th.

Whilst anything is possible and I admire and secretly look at the table and think if this and then, we could be within a shout. Just don't see the consistency magicing itself.

I took Fleetwood and Reading to win and Leeds let me down for my bet.

Ultimately we’re not in the top 6 cos we can’t beat dross like Fleetwood, Port Vale (twice!), Cambridge. Thats 10 points right there

Stevenage should have been 2-3 up...
Reading didn't have a shot on target and were 1-0 at HT
