If we win the next couple, could be a massive gate!

Wanderers have sold out their full allocation for the trip to Blackpool on Saturday 24th February.

2,135 tickets have been snapped up for our visit to Bloomfield Road, with Ian Evatt’s men backed by yet another sold out away section.

Thank you for your outstanding support!

Portsmouth have also sold out for their trip.

And again you marvel at the sheer stupidity of us not letting them both have the other 2000 tickets. What other football club turns down income like we do? One of the benefits of our location is people want to visit and we put barriers in their path. Imagine if we were going for promotion and teams treated us like that the fact we leave half the stand empty because we can’t be arsed to police it. Feel sorry for the fans that we do this let alone bars hotels in town that would benefit from another 2000 spending money in the town, especially Pompey as hundreds would stay the weekend.

We got an fa charge and an action plan, it's probably to do with that and not wanting any further disorder to harm the situation.

Probably but what the fuck are they on about. Just an income earner for the FA, you would think they want to help football clubs, not fine them for a few numpty supporters

We don't know what the action plan is but they seem to punish the many for the actions of a few.

Yep, money earner.
Easy to find a fault at any football ground.
Seems to be a lot of woke crap creeping in, with the big push of DEI, which is fine in some respects, but always seems to go to extremes, where anyone could take offence to anything really.

You won't be able to mock the other team when they're losing in years to come as it'll be deemed offensive and bad for their mental health.

Nonsense if our players had anything about them a raucous atmosphere should spur them on. Likewise it livens up our own fans. It’s the soulless games that we always lose.
Without wishing to shift the blame for this unfortunate state of affairs, and quite clearly I'm not alone in feeling this way, but I think the manager also has to take some responsibility for some of the many misgivings we've all been witness to as the season has unfolded. Certain personnel being played out of position, persisting with questionable tactics, failing to implement a plan B when a game is clearly crying out for such change, puzzling substitutions ... Face it, there have been no end of occasions when the managerial decision-making appears to have gone a little awry, which then prompts the question: who was actually involved in the liaison process? Well - you tell me! In short, at the management level, there has clearly to be much greater transparancy than presently exists. So sort it ...

Action at these various levels, would, unquestionably, affect the atmosphere at games in so many ways, but, before this can happen, fans in attendance have to be given something to shout and cheer about, and, I'm sorry to have to say, frankly, they're not seeing a great deal out on the pitch which is likely to encourage such a response.

The games against Forest and Bolton were bouncing with a smaller crowd than usual.

The best home record in division. Really what more do you want to attend games.

Better idea is to charge £15 to watch the reserves. 👍
WTF are you on about?
It's £15 to see a friendly at BR and against Bolton it was a strong side with mainly first team players.

Going on about the price of a semi which you had no intention of going is a bad luck.👍

Easy 3 points for us based on last time we played them

Lose the next couple of games and there will be plenty of empty seats - reflection of Critch and his underwhelming football!

Just to clarify things.

You know the pricks that persist at throwing things at opposition players?
Well, if the opposition supporters were nearer then they could throw things at them too. And because the police or stewards do f**k all to stamp it out, may I include fans in the North, we may not get the ground closure being banded about but another hefty fine.
NOW anyone willing to put their hand in their pocket to the tune of 30-40k then bob on throw away but the majority of the throwers do it knowing there's no consequence to their actions for them.

Oh, and all the posters who said such n such a player shouldn't have provoked the crowd like that, he got what he deserved. What the f**k do you think Bolton, Pompy, Barnsley etc are going to do? Some bloody knitting!!🤦

Grow up and maybe the club might get extra revenue in, but it won't be this season.

More away fans equals more income for the club to strengthen the squad. Makes perfect sense.
If only if it was that simple, 2000 extra fans @ £25 or £30 = £50-60k
Than money soon gets evaporated by police, steward costs and the inevitable fine because someone has to lob something at the opposition.
No more money to strengthen owt🤷
Fill it with our supporters (who by the way can't fill our own sections) or leave it empty.
Makes perfect sence👍🏻

On a slightly different note, I keep reading about all these teams “snapping up” the tickets . Except our fans , who seem to be on the last minute with ticket purchases. I can’t get my head round this attitude .

Bolton should of been allocated an extra 1000 seats as a good will gesture bearing in mind they more than accommodated us , journalists and reporter's quoted what a great Derby and atmosphere it was, we have spent years trying to build the attendances so to me seems strange to dilute it , if you don't reciprocate away allocations then it will end up like Rangers v Celtic Us v Knobbers.

So if, and when the East is built you want to limit away fans to 2k when we don’t sell out our own allocation?
Different set up then because home capacity would be greater.

I'd give the opposition the South, with us on the other three sides. That would be maybe 2,500-2,700 depending on segregation.

If and when the East is built the stand would hopefully be constructed better than the mecano shite that's there at the moment.
Therefore you would pray that entrance and exits to and from the stand would be able to be controlled better and seating within the ground also.
With that in mind more tickets could then be issued to away followings where a better structure to police those fans would ensu 🤞🙏

An illustration, maybe, of where the question of 'matchday tickets', and such like, features on their 'to do list of priority matters to attend to ...' "Tickets for the game? Last minute - innit"
