And what position shall he play ?
6 points no problem without CJStevenage away - Oxford at home
Rubbish6 points no problem without CJ
It won’t take much to give us a nudge before the window shuts but as lack of attacking options at 1-1 off the bench said it all. Speed in attacking positions and a central midfielder please. Why stop at fixtures 1 and 2? Fixtures 4, 5 and 7 hold the same weight.
I’m not a big fan of the use of “marquee” and “statement” signings but if ever there is a time to invest in one who can come in and immediately improve the first XI, then now is that time. It’s worth a £7m (80%) increase in revenue. You don’t get those sort of risk/ reward in hedge funds. Hopefully SS is ready to risk for the reward.
Because you lose the next two and fixtures 4,5 and 7 become less relevant. Why stop at fixtures 1 and 2? Fixtures 4, 5 and 7 hold the same weight.

He certainly isRubbish
No it’s you talking rubbishHe certainly is
Have a look at Charlton's forum and they talk about CJ and needing a player like him.6 points no problem without CJ
No mans land is where CJ currently spends too much of his time.Lol you guys are CJ's biggest fan one week and he's the scapegoat the next...
Not looking forward to playing you lot at the moment, we're still in no mans land with a new manager and too many bloody injuries.
We know he is! And that's precisely why BillyRonsonNo7 is saying, "6 points no problem without CJ."Rubbish
When you say "No man's land", is that an instance of you making a rather cryptic reference to those areas of the pitch CJ invariably tends to frequent during matches these days ? And, if so, I rather fear your stab at poetic license may just be a bit lost on our current 'trusty' RWB - or whatever position he's supposed to be 'playing' these days ...No mans land is where CJ currently spends too much of his time.
By that, I take it you mean BillyRonsonNo7, along with several hundred other equally perplexed/bemused followers present at BR on matchday, having to witness the 'clueless one' attempting to impersonate a professional footballer. No it’s you talking rubbish
Or she, Reg..And what position shall he play ?
Excellent (rubs hands together in a Mr Burns type way) mwah hah hah hahLol you guys are CJ's biggest fan one week and he's the scapegoat the next...

Classic AVFTT nonsenseYou don’t get those sort of risk/ reward in hedge funds.
I don't blame CJ in anyway as he is what he is. He should have one role and that is not RWB.When you say "No man's land", is that an instance of you making a rather cryptic reference to those areas of the pitch CJ invariably tends to frequent during matches these days ? Probably just as well, eh? I fear the more literate-minded CJ apologists out there, reading that, might well be up for storming the barricades ...
Fair point. Briefly outlining the current stuation in the way you have has, rather belatedly, enabled me to see things for precisely how they are. So, I think it's fair to say I maybe owe CJ something of an apology.I don't blame CJ in anyway as he is what he is. He should have one role and that is not RWB.
Agreed minimum 4 points.Stevenage away - Oxford at home
6 and the door is open , 4 and we are knocking on the door , 0 and I’m afraid the door is lockedAgreed minimum 4 points.
Ideally 6 points please
Trust the process, even if you have not got a scooby doo how it is meant to work.Fair point. Briefly outlining the current stuation in the way you have has, rather belatedly, enabled me to see things for precisely how they are. So, I think it's fair to say I maybe owe CJ something of an apology.
What I am struggling to grasp, though, is why it should be taking so long for Critchley to recognise (and act upon) something I suspect dawned on you - and doubtless a host of others - many moons ago?
Perhaps someone needs to have a quick word in his shell-like?
Pretty sure this gets said every single week/month.Stevenage away - Oxford at home
A lot of our fans are incapable of finding a middle ground. They either hate a player or love a player.Lol you guys are CJ's biggest fan one week and he's the scapegoat the next...

you could perhaps say the same about a manager.A lot of our fans are incapable of finding a middle ground. They either hate a player or love a player.
I actually don't think anyone "loves" Critchley. Some certainly hate him.you could perhaps say the same about a manager.
I said "a" not "the" so wasn't really referring to Critchley. Had more in mind Appleton and McCarthy.you could perhaps say the same about a manager.
We don’t play Stevenage and Oxford every single week and monthPretty sure this gets said every single week/month.

Not really as thanks to Saturday's result we're still in with a shout of the play offs. If we'd won those 2 games and lost at P'borough then we wouldIn fairness to @Tangman74 - he was spot on with the o/p as if we'd have won both games we'd now be 5 points better off and knocking on that Play Off door. Missed opportunities against two very average sides.
It's weird how the season defining games are always the ones we are about to play innit?
