I don’t think anyone has a problem with it. Just as others have said, it seems pointless and virtually none of the other teams do it. They seem to think its run its course. If ours want to do it as they say, as long as it doesn’t scare the horses🤷 When I say no one has a problem with it, I obviously mean no sensible people. The odd booing knobhead will, they probably don’t even know why they’re booing.
 
Very few teams seem to do it now these days in fact I’m struggling to say who were the last team we played against.

If the players all want to do it then fair enough I’ve no issues with that at all but just seems a pointless exercise these days as we don’t keep need reminding week in week out what it was all about yet only football seems to do it in the world of sort.

Wrong. We're paying customers, paying to watch football not some pathetic statement that nobody has a clue about or wants to know about.

It was a statement when they started doing it. Does it not feel a bit “meh” now? Like it doesn’t even register. Is it getting any media attention to affect change?
Like I say, so they just keep doing it for the sake of it?
 
Those doing it after the death of George Floyd believed they were expressing simple solidarity with victims of racism. Now, four years later, some are still kneeling to a racist ideology which has been shown to be anti-white and anti-Semitic and which sees the police as a criminal organisation which must be defunded. The underlying message is good, but the practice belongs to a different time. Just wear an anti-racism badge if you want to give a message.

21st century & conflict continues around the world as always based on historical dislike between religion, colour & creed. Unfortunately the term racism in the west seems to always be pointed at whites oppressing blacks which in the main has been eradicated. I see groups of school kids of different ethnic backgrounds in Blackpool walking to & from school together. BLM bollocks potentially can be divisory rather than letting the younger generations in this country just get on with life.

Make sure you kick off about the religious statements players make when coming on as subs. Making a cross sign is completely against me beliefs.

I don’t agree with the coin toss either. Waste of time. Banish that. I am a paying customer and what I says goes.

Agree entirely, SK. Racism, as a social issue, remains a huge problem, and taking the knee, quite rightly, needs to be allowed to continue as a strong acknowledgement of this rather disturbing fact, a gesture plain for all to see, and one which I hope continues for as long there are people who continue to be on the receiving end of such objectionable, reprehensible behaviour.

To those individuals who feel the need to voice such strong opposition to people airing their views, I've got just one question: what 'is' your problem?
