South Stand Singing Section

Think a small section of singers would look a bit crap and would give the away fans plenty of ammo. Currently they know the South Stand isn't the main stand so don't bother.

It would have to be at least one full block for it to be good and don't think that will happen anytime soon under Critchball.

Also when the kids teams get tickets they give the away fans pelters, it's hysterical sometimes. With singers we wouldn't hear 10 year old kids singing about the away fans mums
There enough room in the next block as well, that's usually half empty too.

It wouldn't be noticeable from the rest of the full blocks ideally, as we want to fill them too, but there would just be more who sing.

Have a look on here, if that was full it'd be better.

Great Vlog that, poor kid trying to keep it together full of enthusiasm at the start. It's good to see the ground from their view point, looks quite impressive with the ground bouncing like that and we know it can get even better. Well done to the group in the South it looked good from the North, jump around if you hate Bolton.

Yep, we've basically already got a signing section there for bigger games, wouldn't it be fantastic to see that more often and filling the blocks fully.

Only you could turn a thread about a singing element in the crowd into an anti Critchley post . Seek help .

Definitely, success will increase the numbers but don't lose any from the North because that is up there with the best home ends in the country not just league one.
We've got enough to do it when we have the demand to fill the 3 sides, just if it got known as a singing section maybe more from the south or wherever would go there.

As seen some will naturally go there anyway to wind up away fans etc, but could do with some more of the older lads etc.

I doubt any from the North would as its just brilliant in there, love it.

Some very good footage of the North in that video. A good watch.
As for the South, it's shame that the lower rows are often quite empty.

I'm in the South, and I think Block X is for kids and coaches from local youth teams (either free or reduced price?)
If so, It's a good initiative, as Block X would be largely empty otherwise.
Unless we can consistently get more fans in the ground, we won't fill that block without reducing the numbers in the North or West.

Actually break into those play off positions for the run in and the numbers will naturally increase. Get the ones who want to serenade the away fans into Block X if possible.

It is a good initiative and that could carry on but the rest just be filled too, as the kids seem to enjoy being involved, a bit like some youngsters in the north. Or there's always the next block along which is always half empty too.

Yep doing well or better in league 1 is enough to fill the 3 sides, certainly in the championship we can fill it and more, then we can get another section in the east who bounce off the north.

I bet whoever was in X will be absolutely buzzing and will have massively enjoyed that banter.

Some of the most pleasing things were seeing footage from that vlog, Lee Charles etc and seeing youngsters enjoying it all and jumping around near the end, when the north did the jump around bit, kids love all that because its fun and won't forget it. The next generation.

Not just kids but anyone loves a local derby day win like that and it's why you just have to get people through the door, as if they witness that and have such a good time they'll return. That's why for me, given we want to grow, I'd do anything I could to just get people in the stadium.

Which leads onto my other Fleetwood post, we've got a real chance there to have another great occasion and this time there's no need for it to be previous purchase only as they won't fill the away end.

The club should do all it can to fill the stadium, a deal game, whatever. Hopefully not moved to a night game. We've a chance to relegate them or certainly send them on the way.

Imagine the banter there, get X and the rest filled.

Made me proud seeing that from the North, a bunch of kids converging on X block to give Bolton fans pelters.

I felt the future was secure in that moment 🍊
That's the beauty of it, whoever was there, whether through the local teams initiative or whatever, will want to come again and spread the word, that they got to take the piss out of 2k Bolton fans and they loved it. You could see them just bouncing off and doing what the north did.

Imagine if that area was full.

It isn't going to happen . All the singers went to the north and the only people left behind are the better behaved fans who have to put up with the insults and abuse from the away supporters.

When demand is the the north fills up and when that happens people have to go elsewhere and there's enough who will sing to go in that area.

Looks like we found those newest members of the SSSS.

The great thing about that initiative that the club are doing with local football sides is, after a game like that those kids will have absolutely loved that experience.

Some may have been Blackpool fans but others may not. The chances are they'd want to experience that again, either hopefully getting parents to take them or maybe just going as a group again with their team and staff.

Even if some support other prem sides, which can happen, the reality is they likely won't be attending those games, nothing beats real games and experiencing the atmosphere, mocking and jumping around.
