We are so infuriating
Sluggish
Wigan commentary have a couple of times suggest they won’t be able to keep “their” press up all game & will sit back ….
 
Coulson had a difficult time with their man down that side but there isn’t much we can do about it.CJ will get ripped a new one by him.Connolly could probably be more solid there even at left back but it takes away any width for us down that side
 
What does he instruct them to do? Someone explain please. Dire half of football there banging the ball aimlessly to their centre halves. All in front of a massive away following here.
Needs a complete reboot second half.
 
That was as bad as it has been all season. A cowardly performance, cowardly tactics from the cowardly Critchley and a cowardly display from the players. Lav's and Dembele look the most likely, Bees has had a stinker, I'd get Joseph on at the start of the second half.

They need to be brave and really go for ut second half, it can be done and we are playing towards our supporters but it has to change massively from that utter dross.

Think we played towards our fans first half sadly.
 
very disappointing. byers having an off day, norburn is having another mare. wing backs not getting forward wigan in control.

we are way too passive, midfield is where this game will be won and we have no chance to get any control in midfield with norburn there.

bees being out muscled, lavs is putting himself about, dembele is being fouled every time he gets the ball.
 
Currently 9th 3 points off the Play off places with Orient just 2 points behind us, Oxford winning, Lincoln winning, Stevenage losing & Orient winning, we need some improvement on that second half.

We are playing so deep, there is no support for the forwards so we are resorting to hoofs. It has to be tactical and it has to be the way Wigan are all over us and forcing us back, we can't cope when this has happened this season and there is no plan B to change it. Well there phucking needs to be one this afternoon.
 
Not seen any of it and only caught bits of the comms, lucky escape for me?

Did hear Thommo say about the need to change shape. Valid from him?

Two against three in midfield so they go safety first most times, sitting deep and passing back and sideways. All because not just now but all season we have accommodated one centre half too many. Awful to watch once we have our wing backs closed down - and Wigan have done that well..
 
They look a good side to be fair, confident on the ball and they have players that can take people on
