It's a no game Saturday

Kicked the day off with heavy lift session (3 rep sets) and now finally getting around to cleaning the Koi pond with a break in the rain.

Think it’ll be a slopey afternoon- going to finally watch Napoleon.

Curry tonight with friends. Might watch highlights of the England friendly when I get in.

Basically a weekend without a Pool game is pretty dull 😂

pretty much no change for me today. Bit like an away game i wouldn't be going to. will follow the scores coming in and then off to the pub at 5 pm. I don't mind these international breaks as i always look forward to England games.

Sounds like you could have talked Brannagan round Chunky😁

Worked from home a few hours this morning. Sorted a few house jobs. Watched 2 episodes of Friends, put a little wager on the England game and a little walk later.
Just at the back end of a cold so a restful day is nice 👌

interesting that Tranmere seem to have Apter playing on the right side of the forward line when I saw a bit of him which was admittedly in the youth team he looked good down the left side almost hugging the touchline and using his pace to drive past defenders. Not really seeing enough of the ball so far today

A few of his touches haven't quite come off so far but you can see enough to see he would have added to our team this season.
Maguire in defence for Crawley. The brother, copping a bit of flak 😁

oh thats Harry Maguire's brother? I didnt know that.Just had to google him

My game finished Maidstone 1.0 Weston s Mare.
Very dire.
2,400 fans Inc 20 odd away fans who looked like they bought a flag each. £13 to get in as a senior.
Game finished in a hailstorm, which was nice.

Just watching Stockport v MK Dons, apparently Stockport are redeveloping Edgeley Park and increasing capacity to 20k. A club that has never averaged more than 14k in their entire history. Strange considering many on this message board continually tell us that because attendance levels haven't been achieved historically, they can't possibly be achieved in the future.

Stockport is the in place (to live) in Northern England apparently; lots happening in the town.

Went for a game of golf and we gave up at the 7th after high winds and hailstones! Welcome to spring!

I had to pick someone up in Manchester so we went to watch FC United. good half a ground (think they ran out of money) biggish gate but wonder what would happen if they got Man United in the FA Cup?

I went to Sutton United v Accy with a mate.

Sutton fighting for their EFL lives. Accrington offering little.

3-1 win to Sutton which didn’t flatter them.

AFC Fylde depressing yesterday, 0 atmosphere and £18 for 3 pale ales in Bradley’s, what a con. Plus, no ‘real beer’ on in there. Good few pints in the Stanley and every credit to the 40odd Oxford City fans. Fylde have made a decent job of the facilities under the new North stand, plenty of space, live band before the game etc. Shame the footy is shite. Definitely downhill since our boycott years. UTMP.

This Saturday when there is no football I'm going with my Shakers mate to Bury v Wythenshawe - Wythenshawe top and Bury now 3rd - proper 6 pointer although strangely both could be done by Wythenshawe Town in 2nd place!! (Bury have played the last two games behind closed doors and had some poor results).
