Who’s off to Derby then ….

I went to Wigan with my lad & had a brilliant day bar the football, after the result I decided not to go to derby, now we still have a chance he’s talked me into it and I can’t wait, few drinks on the train , an extra large full English in Wetherspoons, more drinks, a few games of pool and a 1-3 win
Let’s face it the seasons nearly over and we’ll all miss it like mad until the next one so we’re making the most of it

That’s great, my lad just can’t be bothered to go. Last two away days Stevenage and Wigan and he’s lost a bit of faith. I’m trying to persuade him otherwise👍

Roll reversal from my situation then, every credit for going to Stevenage!
Hope you manage to persuade him
After the boycott my son was so keen to get back to games that he dragged me up to Dundee for that pre season friendly under Grayson!

The first season back was much better than this season has been.
To be fair, no expectations and just great to be back going to games with my lad.

Lovely ground, great fans and if we are on top of our game and with their injuries, we could yet pull off a surprise.

My ban continues, I might go to Carlisle - if there's nothing to play for 😄 (if not sold out by next week)

Just been told by Sarah in the club shop that nearly 1200 have been sold and there still on sale until 4pm today with no POTG. All things considered and our poor away form this is a very goo effort, but the Wigan game probably knocked 200+ off.

Derby saying only 600 have been sold which is a true reflection of the current mood. People would rather stay at home and watch A Place in the Sun.

I was at Wigan & couldn't engage in any football banter on the way home. I'd estimate nearer 1000 swerving Derby after that shitfest.

Annoyingly off to visit friends and stay overnight in Belper, but probably out in Derby in the afternoon - anyone know any pubs there that will show the game? If I get half a chance?

Can't make it. The last time I was at Derby was in the mid 80s..at the Baseball ground winning 1-0 tremendous Blackpool performance but can't remember who scored. The Baseball ground had one of the best atmospheres going..the Popside could generate a hell of a noise.
I used to live in Nottingham and went to a Derby v Forest FACup game with Archie Gemmil scoring for Derby. Utter carnage and mass fighting in all 4 stands that day. They absolutely hate each other.
now young man. the damn utd Always spring to mind.,
