Why I’ll renew whatever …

Had the same seats since the stadium opened and was fortunate during NAPM that no one had them as ST seats. Don’t want to lose them and so will renew despite hating Critchball and actually not going on Saturday because I’ve something more interesting to do! Anyone else renewing purely based on keeping their seat!

I love & support both your loyalty & reasoning.
Many supporters will be like us, in hoping that SS takes note of the brassed off feelings of a growing number of supporters, swallows his pride & replaces NC with a manager who will have our team playing entertaining, attacking football.
I do of course fully respect the fact that other supporters enjoy the football that NC produces.

I also respect those people, both of them.😉

I've watched us play football under the likes of Megson, Worthington, Hendry, McCarthy, Appleton (×2), Ince and Clarke. Whilst some of the stuff under Critchley has been bad, it hasn't been as bad as those listed. The majority of us wouldn't attend for a few seasons because of the protest, so the thought of not getting a season ticket seems a little petty, if it's just because you don't like what is served up under NC. Obviously we all have our own decisions to make but for me, it's an easy decision to renew. Hopefully we see boots on the ground at the new TG site and a real summer of intent in the transfer market to help make those on or the other side of the fence, change their minds.

I am 95% certain to renew. The only thing that could stop me us my financial situation.
Obviously this season hasn't been successful in any way but neither has it been a total disaster. Football has been crap but I'll still go and support them because that's what I do. Some may disagree. That is their perogative and I respect that.

Exactly
Last season was a disaster, this season has been neither very good or very bad.

I will be absolutely delighted when Critchley departs. That aside I have been mostly bored shitless this season, as I have posted on other threads, he’s going nowhere yet. I am expecting more of the same next season, whoopee. But, I support the team , not Critchley. I will also renew next season but I don’t think I will be going every home game, unless he has a Damascene conversion. I don’t think depriving the club of much needed income will help anyone, so through gritted teeth I will part with my hard earned once again. I will get my money’s worth by a season of moaning, I have to get my pleasure? somehow. 😁

I love a good moan as much as the next person. Imagine if we'd swept all before us and won the league in February, I'd have had to tell my missus the truth about her cooking. 😂

Yes....mostly.

I wonder how many more "I'm renewing whatever" threads there are going to be?

If you renew, bully for you, we'll done, have a⭐

If you don't renew, don't worry, you're not a bad person.

🍄….🥶🤣… there’s loads of seats ….

I don't think season tickets will be too down on this season. I imagine the majority of people who are talking about not renewing are the people that either havent actually got season tickets or ones that are usually on the fence about such things.

I think you are wrong and we will be at least 25% down if things stay as they are..a few big signings would help to increase optimism but I’m not sure Critchley can be trusted to sign decent players…anyone playing Oakley Booth in front of Dembele has to have questionable judgement.

When you consider those on here declaring they’re not renewing whilst Critch is still here, I don’t think SS will be losing sleep over it.
They represent a tiny proportion of the overall fan base!

I sit or stand! next to a bloke whose first love is Aston Villa but he's lived in Blackpool for years and tbh I think Pool is now his first love. Great company, knowledgeable about his football in a positive way and has made a great distraction from the dross served up for 90per cent of this season and for that alone I will renew.

Exactly

My tangerine tinted spectacles must be playing up because what I have seen has bored me shitless. For me that falls into the very bad category or as I would call it “I can’t believe I’m buying another season ticket to watch this shit” category.

For me it's the fact that for the first time in 40 odd years we have an owner with the best interests of the club at heart and despite my frustrations at Critchley and the style of football I love the club and would hate to reduce our ambition even 0.01% by not commiting to them in the way that they most rely on.

There's a bigger picture.

Big projects in the offing new East Stand and Training Ground tens of millions to be spent.

I cant expect the club to commit to this sort of spending if I cant commit to buying a couple of season tickets just because I might not like the style of play.

There will likely be some reduction in ST numbers, which is generally inevitable in football if you're not at the top of consistently outperforming your 'natural level' (whatever that may be).

This season has proven frustrating in that it promised more than it's delivered. We've never really got beyond being a team that look top 10, but never being a clear and obvious threat to the top 6. And within that scenario, the football being played has been missing a spark and more importantly an element of passion and spirit that is needed to connect players with supporters. Things aren't bad at the club. They just aren't very exciting. Something is going to be needed to change that. My fear is that I don't see either an influx of exciting signings or a new coach. So people will be waiting for the new season to get an idea of whether anything has changed. Once again, we'll need a blistering start to stop the grumbling and that's never an easy situation to manage.
