Oi critchley put sky sports football on now

That era was the best football I've ever seen watching Pool yet some on here just wouldn't give Ollie the credit he deserved. Tony Parkes was a good coach but the football was as dour as its ever been. Ollie took off the shackles with a we're gonna score one more than you attitude.
We deserved to beat West Ham by at least 2 goals that day, I still find it difficult to re watch. The footballing side lost that day.

Unfortunately not one of Super Kevs best matches.
No real service for him, we didn't have that many chances really, half chance for Matty P first half, Ince's goal after a brilliant ball from MP, Dobbie's bottley scuff and I think Baps tried to force his way through near the end?

It was ages ago though and I've never watched it back, still no idea what happened with their winner, someone slipped and it looked like Gilks was fouled.

Matt Phillips missed two decent chances early on though.I thought overall it was a pretty even game as I seem to recall Allardyce acknowledged afterwards.

I also seem to recall they had previously thrashed us in the league(4-0?) at their place so unlike the Cardif game I wasn`t very confident.

Baptiste

We should have been at least 2 up, clear chances to Matt Phillips, before they scored. And we footballed them to death second half.

I walked back down Wembley Way with a WH bloke. Well he said, that was a load of crap, poor game. I just stared at him - yes for you it must have been. You've just been battered and got away with it.

Exactly the same for me..although I remember distinctly Big Sam's face and body language when we got the equaliser and at the time he knew they were going to get beat (although as mentioned Howard Webb and bad finishing conspired to do otherwise)

What also pissed me off about WH, were the chants about our attendance, never mind the fact that most travelled hundreds of miles and those arrogant tw@ts went a few stops on the Underground.

Absolutely. And amazing how they've suddenly discovered about 20,000 new fans since being given a ground.

Can't watch it
Had a pal who is die hard Leeds but he came to both the games
He thought we were better than West Ham but thought Cardiff was more even

Never liked West Ham going way back

Never watched it back either.

I can still experience that second after the West Ham goal when we were hit with a wave of noise - absolutely sickening.
Strange thing was I wasn't that upset by it all and not sure why really - maybe I knew it was the beginning of the end of the O's.

Agree, loads of chances, non of which fell to the right Phillips! I recall baptiste being fouled in the build up to their goal.
