    Casey

Casey is assured on the ball but I still think he lacks that nasty streak of defender first. For the size of him he's not as dominant in the air as you'd like. Still a work in progress I'd say but if he stays he can hopefully carry on improving.

    Kyle Joseph.

It was his first touch that got away from him and then he was stretching. He should have scored but a confident player in front of goal puts that away. I'm hoping he has a good pre season and we see the player that we hope he can be.

    TAM and Trimm Trab...

Well he made good time after escaping the re make of Escape from New York the Reading edit. He was flying up the M40 only to drop off the pace as the duracells faded fast and my oil burner over took him.

Needed goals, brought Virtue and Norburn on

He had a plan, be fair lads. 'We knew what we were going to do if we were drawing with 15 minutes to go. Not having them, limits what you can do to turn the game in your favour. We had to do it with what we had on the pitch or with less attacking players- it wasn’t easy. We had no alternatives...

    Critchley OUT

Just back, long ass day. We started brightly and with the away end right behind the team I felt oddly confident of a result. The killer was the soft free header equaliser on 45 plus mins after both our right sided CH and wing back failed to stop the cross. I've just read pep critchleys post...

    Karamoko Dembele 🍊

Yes a rolls Royce of a player and only capt critch vc, could waste a season loan of such a player and fail to get in the play offs. He's not played a lot of football dont you know before coming to us.......

    Roadrunner Hamilton

Wingers/inverted fb bobbins are always in and out of games. It's when he's in a game that he needs to effect it more. The odd occasion he's unstoppable but I'm not convinced that merits a start.

Has it been out of our hands before?

Were Rochdale at Plymouth? Big Danny Shittu got a goal at Darlo if the old grey matter is working correctly. A grand day out!

Somehow we've taken it to the last day

To have taken it to the last day is some feat in itself. Our topsy-turvy away form should have killed our season but fair play they have dug out the last 4 results from somewhere. Certainly not always pretty or the most entertaining but today up to 3 nil was what you'd want as a fan. The odds...

Bloody hell.. we're still in it!!!

Can you find 6 easy points from this season?

22 Years since we lost King Billy

We've had some decent periods since the King Billy days but personally none so more enjoyable as when he was manager, what a man, leader and galvaniser supreme!

Its not just on the manager this

Sadler is an analyst, he runs a hedge fund. I'm not sure he makes decisions based on anything but stats and data and thats how we ended up with Mr 3-5-2 back at the helm.

Blackpool v Fleetwood Official Matchnight Thread 09.04.24

We don't do easy wins do we. Watching on my phone in a pizzeria in Central Italy with sketchy connection I thought it was a half decent watch. It must have lagged for the shit bits! We moved the ball a lot quicker and had a better tempo I thought which makes us look a lot better on the eye. On...

    Boos after a 1-0 win

You pays your money and you choose to do what you want whether that be cream your pants over a fist pump or boo over a dull game or applaud no matter what. I don't think the boos were based on the game in isolation but a build up of frustration of what can only be described as a dull season. Im...

Blackpool v Cambridge United Official Matchday Thread 06.04.24

We just don't have a killer instinct, the teams in the top 6 finish teams when on top. We were so on top it was odds on we'd lose our way. Its not like we've sat back to be fair, more that we stopped playing and made really poor decisions when in good positions.
