💩 or Bust Tomorrow

Disagree even if we get beat there is still 18 games (54 points) to go and we have to play a few of the ones above us so all won't be lost
You're technically right, but losing tomorrow will likely put us 10 points adrift with teams above us having games at hand with major questions about our squad still remaining to be answered.

I just can't see us making any run at Promotion if we don't win tomorrow. It'd be all bark and no bite for us to consistently win at home and then fall away.

At some point or another the squad have to put their foot down.

Time and time this season we've thought we turned the corner only to fall flat away from home. We have to make a run soon and if it's not tomorrow I don't know if it'll ever happen.

What major problems are there with the squad?, in football terms what do you mean by put your foot down.

We have far better players than Bristol.
If NC plays the right players, in the right positions, & we play at the right tempo (not friggin backwards & sidewards), I'm confident that we will win this game.

The right players and their positions differ from view to view i might see something different than you, what ever he picks will be wrong with some people. i don't know any team that doesn't go backwards and sideways

The beauty of football is you don't know though. If we knew that we were going to come good then there's no tension.

I see this season as kind of infuriating because we're good good bad bad good bad bad good good bad good bad and we want to know what we are but ultimately, we might be a ** great side in the making or a totally flaky team who never find consistency and none of us know till it's all done.

This is true, but you're failing to consider that this is a board where reactionary opinions thrive and I've already decided that if we don't win tomorrow our season is over

Agree as would u play lyons, gabriel, Joseph etc.. we all have different views but I think majority of would have connolly not playing and similar for CJ.... the thread on team for Bristol backs this up.

Incredible connolly has played 12 consecutive games (despite not playing superb or getting motm) whilst others are lucky to get a game are then dropped next game out the squad. Not right.

Hopefully I'm wrong and both are rested and on bench tomoz 🤞

I fully agree with you.
That's why I never, ever select a Pool team for any game 😆 That's NC's job & his alone.
As Arnold Schwarzenegger says about growing older; "Why worry about something that you can't do anything about?"

Not shit or bust no. However, I agree with the intent. We should be improving consistently and our standard of play needs to be improving all the time. At this stage in the season we need to be winning regularly but tomorrow...I'll allow us the draw.

I think that was either Socrates, Plato and/or Aristotle. Rather than Arnie.

But very true all the same.

I do think they will be rested, but who knows its all down to the manager, whoever he picks he will be confidant they can do a job

Tomorrow has to be the start of a decent and consistent run of results if we are to stand any chance of a play off spot. l would sooner see us go for it and fail rather than fail due to being over cautious.

I really don't think they will whilst others will be however I so hope your right 🙏

But whoever plays we need to go for it and give them travelling fans a good day.

Not shit or bust, but the fact is that we've not won three in a row all season, and we haven't beaten a team below the top six away from home all season either. That has to change if we're to challenge the top six, and the sooner it happens the easier that challenge will be. So it's a big game. If we can win tomorrow, it might transform our season. Whereas if we lose we will still have chances but it gets that little bit harder.

The second half on Weds makes our league position doubly frustrating because we know they can do it. We have some genuinely good players at the club and they need to start believing in themselves a bit. The return of Joseph, Lavery and Gabriel could make a big difference even though I don't think they'll all start tomorrow.

We need to win multiple games in a row.

We have not won 3 in a row once this season.
Three in a row you say? My God, can’t remember the last time we did that.

Let’s put on another intense, ‘this is Blackpool’ style Gerald Butler performance and go from there.

We've got 42 points from 27 games. We need about two points per game over the last 19 games. 38 more points would mean 80 total. We have only taken 1.55' points per game up to now, so improvement is necessary. We've managed 1.8 per game over the last ten games, so it's doable I think.

It would help a lot to start with 3 points today, but the season won't be over if we don't. A draw would be a decent outcome at Bristol, a win would be excellent.

I dont think it's win or bust but I'd like a win for sure. I'm more nervous about Charlton at home as they have made some really good signings and added Ladapo yesterday too so a win away today would be very welcome.

I’d lost all hope after the Northampton game that was end of season for me, I’ll be happy if we get a trip to Wembley in the EFL Trophy

I'd he happy with a draw today,Bristol even though we beat them the other week looked a decent side.
Don't want us to go gung ho like a lot of posters are saying how about frustrating the opposition and than trying to sneak a 1-0 win.

When we saw fixtures coming up against Burton, Cambridge and Port Vale, we were probably expecting between five and seven points. We didn’t get any ! That’s where we are.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd send the team out every match with the message, "Right lads, play as if you're at Bloomfield Road, and we'll have no pratting about between the defence and keeper. Keep them under pressure and make them scared of us."

Well 50%... connolly rested and CJ playing.. unless injury I don't get how Pennington isn't even on bench.. but was wed. This is what pisses me off.. like lyons... players just disappear apart from connelly and cj... which if they were both playing brilliantly I get... but they bloody ain't.

You cant play everyone and choices have to be made, i do see why he plays Hamilton but for me there can't be to many excuses today, i think he has put out a team that most people think bar the odd they would have chosen. Personally i think that the bench is attack minded so today in my opinion people can't moan, its now down to the players and remember Critchley cant make them play well or make decisions for them in play once they cross the white line. With regards Lyons i think things are not quite right, there is something that might of happened that we don't know about
