😂

They were suddenly quite loud at half time when all the players had left the pitch. It's like their brains took 45 minutes to process the game had kicked off.

I was sat next to them and they didn't sing that song once. They sang PNE x 6 a few times, the crackwhore song and then I can't even remember anything else.

Cov fans were miles better. A third of the numbers. Not a derby and midweek. All in all an extremely pathetic showing from our friends down the road.

Only time I remember hearing them was at half time for about 5 seconds…

Agreed - Not even in the same league as Coventry fans were and considering it was a derby it was embarassing support from them!

& for Joan to state they were louder than us prior the goal 😂😂 frightening such delusion roams the streets

Also funny how quickly they turn on their team as soon as something goes wrong or against them.

So quickly turned into negative boo boys, what player will be inspired by that in a derby.

If you're behind and the fans are still full of encouragement then you can spur them on.

It's not like they are bottom, they were comfortably clear of the bottom and had just beaten Coventry the last game.

Yet turned so quick.

"Booooooooo, big fat booooooo. "

"Rubbish, rubbish, get away, don't even come over here"

"Get away, fuck off, Shit,"

Plus other exaperated screams of anguish.

Listen to the guy behind the boooooo man. Absolutely hilarious and also weird.

Those Cov fans have been through it like we have and know it’s important to back your team through thick and thin. The Nobbers though seem to just be drifting with no real purpose. I think Even a relegation dogfight fight will struggle to get a reaction. They need some really poor years and relegation to the basement to recover their mojo 😎

….and without TH who know the future!

I would say with the exception of the North stand who didn’t once stop from 2.30 onwards that we were surprisingly subdued for about half an hour. Not quiet but not the cauldron I expected, then as the game got going the other three sides found their voice.I think that was down to the quality of the game to be honest. They did sing is this a library in the first half just the once and I also wouldn’t say they were louder at any point in the game.

I thought the Cov fans doing Twist & Shout were excellent.

Thought they were whipping up a decent atmosphere up until our goal, they were loud when they got going and I remember thinking along the lines of "the derby is back". It was becoming the way it should be, both sets of supporters getting behind their teams and making a good atmosphere.

Silence from them until full time after our goal, I was genuinely disappointed in them. Roles reversed at Deepdale we'd be getting behind the lads 1 nil down without a doubt.

Think there are some Bully Beefs picking on Joan. It not big and it’s not clever. She is funny though.

See my post above, she claims we were quiet, but then later, in another thread, slips up and says she wasn't actually in the ground until at least 15 minutes after kick off.

So she's full of shit for a start, also from her own evidence has at best, about 10 minutes of the 27 minute game until we score to judge off.

She's unfortunately, for her, exposed herself as not being in the damn stadium at the start to judge 😂

Just to add this in too.

Too show how silent we were before we scored....

Look how silent we were pre game.

Now PNE were completely silent then.

Suppose it was where you were sat in the ground. I'm in the NW corner.
I honestly heard nothing from the Nobbers apart from the odd P N E and a come on you whites.

However I had a Cov mate who went to the Cov midweek match and he said he was suprised how quiet the Blackpool fans were that night, yet I could hear the Coventry supporters and thought ours were just as if not louder than Cov.

Weird in it🤷‍♂️

The acoustics are quite bad in the east, its a low roof so projecting the noise out is good, if there's ambient noise around you probably drowns out some other noise.

But reading this thread and watching the video above it's clear.....Joanpne is down bad right about now. 😀

I don’t do Twitter but my brother sent me a link of two pne comnentators at the game saying the noise from their right ( the north stand) was as loud as they had heard for years,so loud that at 2:30 it was as if we knew we had already won the game, the clip is only a couple of minutes long but really good if anyone could put it on here that would be great
I think Joan had overdone it on the sherry bless her

I'll do a new thread 😀 I'm like a pig in shit with all these gems.

Let's not forget by her own admission she missed at least 15 minutes...

So more than half of the game until we scored on 27 minutes.

Not the best person to judge then really is she.

You couldn't make this up 😂
"One steward sent 200 blokes over to the Ladies toilets which was actually full of our female supporters "

This steward bloke, he wasn't wearing a fredora hat and had a dyed beard by any chance did he?

The point at which their fans started half heartedly singing "is this a library" was a stand out point of the whole day for me. At that point they'd been out sung (not that they bothered to sing much). It felt like they were being out matched on and off the field and were trying to get themselves going. And the fact most folk around me just responded with laughing at them sums it up. Not laughing because they're Preston but because it was pitiful and frankly a pathetic sight to behold.
