JUST BEEN INFORMED THAMES IS CLOSED ON 29/1/22

(Posh kids from Oxford & Cambridge practising for the boat race, applied to get the river closed & have succeeded…….MONEY TALKS!!!! )

But only between Putney and to The west of the river!!

However, we will be disembarking at 13.30/13.45 at Cadogan Pier by Albert Bridge.

It’s then a 15 minute walk to Sloane Square tube then 20 to East Putney.

Shoukd be a great laugh 200 “Boozed Up Seasiders” walking through one of Londons poshist areas.

I’m sure some of us will get a flyer in a pub at Sloane Square too.

Apologises, but I can’t change what’s “inflicted” on me.

It hardly seems worthwhile now, you're embarking at Westminster Pier (Westminster Underground) and now getting off at Albert Bridge (then walking to Sloane Square Underground), Westminster to Sloan Square is only 2 stops on either the Cirlcle or District line.

You'd be better off seeking a full refund and going by bus.

It's not the distance, it's how much you can get from the bar in that time

It's like saying don't go on the circular tour of London sights as you'll end up back where you started. Might as well not bother.

Which exactly what we are doing.
We do have an interim stop at Festival in case someone’s train was late. Si we may do a “double back there.
The time we have the boat for remains the same Embarking Westminster 11/11.15, disembarking 1.45/2.
However it was ME who brought the disembarking forward 15 mins at Codogan to ensure we all easily make kick-off or get a beer & an Uner from The Botanist at Slone Square.

I'm now getting an image of hundreds of Pool fans needing to relieve themselves, so standing on the bridge just as one of the boats rows underneath. And they get fined for having one over the eight.

If the boat stays in dock and just ” Bobs” about a bit it will be worth it for me and my four pals . It takes balls to organise an event like this . Personally I can’t wait and anyone having a pop at the organiser can just F**K off a great time will be had by all.UTMP

I REALLY appreciate the MASSIVE support I have from all who a coming on the boat.
I’ll NEVER let “one or two bad apples” stop us trying to achieve something I hope will be “special” memory wise in years to come
