1 point better off

As I've commented in another thread similar to this.
In 09/10 we were always in and around the playoffs with only 8 teams realistically capable of reaching them.
This season, although only 6 points off there are far more teams in the equation.

But you never know 🤔

I think it will be 73 with a good goal difference - those late goals which probably have cost us 4/5 points would have made all the difference sadly.
 
If we'd won vs QPR and Bournemouth at home then we would be on level points with 6th (QPR), just out of it on goal difference. That's just 2 home games that we should have taken more from,
wether its down to the ref or our poor game management, there's plenty more of them as well!
 
There's a lot of water to flow under the bridge yet.
Personally I think it's asking too much to expect us to get promoted this season now.
However, stranger things have happened in football before now.
Whatever happens I'm looking forward to next season now.
Another season under his belt and we know that Critch will only improve as a manager.
Shrewd move by SS to give him a long contract.
