I'm not exaggerating when i say i can probably name about 50 worse than last night
Go on then?
Tranmere league cup was probably my worst ever. Rammed 3000 of us like sardines, portacabin 4inch of piss and lost 3 nil.
Stockport 1 Boxing Day, Bristol City last season.
Go on then Philip, add some more.
All can play this one.

The back of that away end reminded me of our old kop.
Was going to say the same.

We'd been in the Bulls Head for a few pints of Titanic's finest then walking through an old school turnstile to see a steep grass bank made me think tonight's the night.

We were then let down badly through inept defending and failure to attack meaningfully.

Don't get me wrong, the players were trying, but there was no real attacking intent and trying to impose ourselves on the opposition. Far too often, the body positioning when receiving the ball was with the intention of passing square or back. No one was really looking to set the forwards away, despite them being in good positions.

For me, that's where the frustration lies.

I've seen several worst away performances at just one club than last night

York City
Don't attend away games as much as I did when I was younger, but haven't got too many bad memories of Bootham Crescent. I think three visits, two wins & a draw (over 3 decades though). Blackburn, Bury, Tranmere & Chesterfield always seemed another defeat was looming.

I went to most of those. Yes, we really are die hards :(

It was a great effort by our fans but I don't want my money back and I don't like the trend of hearing it asked for either as it's football and you take your chance when you get your ticket.
Let's not pretend though that last night was anything other than utter utter sh1t. Half our team are the same players(minus the actual good ones who we sold or went back from loan) from last season that did the same thing week in week out. We should have cleared the decks out totally pre season and as for Critch, he needs to change his sh1te formation or bring in players who can actually play it and who actually look like they want to play for Blackpool.

Think I went to Rochdale over three decades without seeing us win, including pre season games.

Brilliant effort!

I couldn't make it but I'm ** sick of seeing calls for a refund on here and other social media. Don't bother going if you're going to be feeling cheated out of money because that is not what it's all about!

I was watching from afar and saw no.lack of effort from the players tonight. I have been.to hundreds of away games and seen far worse than that!
Oh - I get it now. So, when judged against the 'hundreds' of away games you've attended which were, to use your words, "far worse than that", the performance we were treated to against Port Vale wasn't such an abject display after all. Thankyou so much! I'm now beginning to view things from a totally different perspective.
