That was the original thread about pies. Thus was born a legend...I see there was a thread about the pies. Nothing changes!
And probably one about us always getting shit refsI see there was a thread about the pies. Nothing changes!
In those days there was virtually no TV coverage, minimal Radio (BBC Lancs) and The Gazette and that was it. Three were basic websites just starting to emerge. But most of the online content we had to generate for ourselves. I don't recall there ever really being much discussion about refereeing standards, because there was no opportunity to look back and re-examine and analyse it. It was much simpler then. And probably one about us always getting shit refs
Actually, having taken a closer look, see the date - exactly 25 years ago today. Coincidence. And the earliest screenshot we have of my very first effort, back in 1999!

That was a good read, I didn't know half of that.
I note on your attachment that Peter Gillatt was the editor of Seasiders.Net. Now, in addition to being a 100% Seasider I am a huge fan of Dr Who and used to have a subscription to Dr Who Monthly. For a while that publication was edited by Peter Gillatt's brother and in one edition this was acknowledged in an article that, for me, was a highlight of my Dr Who fandom: an article about Dr Who and Blackpool FC in the same periodical.
Yeah, Peter (@INOIT) still posts on here and social media. He was always the structured, organised, more mature one. I just liked messinag about with websites and slagging off the owners!I note on your attachment that Peter Gillatt was the editor of Seasiders.Net. Neither did I, and I was doing it!That was a good read, I didn't know half of that.
1966, I'm a huge Doctor Who on audio fan (Big Finish) and have also done a few online reviews.I note on your attachment that Peter Gillatt was the editor of Seasiders.Net. I have a very small collection of the BF audio dramas. Perhaps I should buy some more, such as the Jago & Litefoot adventures.1966, I'm a huge Doctor Who on audio fan (Big Finish) and have also done a few online reviews.
