If we keep Jerry and can add a little more creativity, I think we'll have every chance. It's a tough division though with Derby, Portsmouth, Bolton, Bristol Rovers and Oxford all recruiting well. Reading are a bit of an unknown and I've no idea if Barnsley and Peterborough will mount challenges given their outgoings. I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead though, probably more than if we'd been facing another season of struggling in the Championship.

Would rather be in the Championship big boys league if I am honest, but I would certainly trade a season of struggle there for another promotion.
It could easily take a few years to get back out of this league though. That is why we are 16 to 1.

Oh I'd prefer to be in the Championship but we'd have needed a lot of investment and without it would have been cannon fodder. Ipswich look like being a decent outfit, Plymouth will do OK. I fancy Wednesday will struggle. That would have left Rotherham who I think will be found out this season and 1 other. It is going to be a tougher league than last season I suspect.

Who with TPDM? I'm not a regular gambler but I did pop into Billy Hills (Poulton) this morning to ask about the Blackpool promotion odds:

4/1 promotion
12/1 champions.

Can't remember what I got it at, the same I think, it's certainly worth a tenner.

If we had kept Jerry 16/1 would have been a decent each way bet!

However, now Sadlers told us we're not interested in going back up so quickly then you've just wasted your tenner! 😔
