17th best team in the country this year

We've had a great year, the new regime has really kicked in, great leadership and management and coaching. Tremendous play off win. Adapted to the new level well, just tweaks needed to push us on. Lots to look forward to.

On a wider note, look at Man City! Way ahead of everyone else, and 2.5 points per game! That's insane. And they do it pretty quietly and serenely, to be fair. Pep doesn't make a big hoo-hah out if it all. Shame it's all paid for with blood money!

2½ points per game is extraordinary.

That's the equivalent of a different formula in motor racing.

I quite like Pep though, and let's be honest, we know how many corrupt regimes are using sport for soft power, throw into the mix the incompetent/corrupt governing bodies and they are well suited.

Not bad when a fair few on here think the manager should have been sacked / needs an older head to wet nurse him / tinkers too much / can't manage his substitutions.

He can tinker too much and his subs can be either poor/too late.

None of that equates to wanting his head for us level-headed fans.
