18 points from the last 9 league games

That is much better than I thought we had done, only the 2 poor losses to Stevenage & Cheltenham in that, I thought it was way worse!

Compare that to Oxford's 9 points from their last 9 games. Posh's 14 points, Barnsley 20 points, Stevenage 13 points, Bolton 15 points, Derby 17 points and Orient 19 points.

If you look at those points hauls we are right up there with Barnsley the form team closely followed by Orient and us. All the others have lost points on us Oxford's a massive 9 points! We certainly aren't out of it but we can't get off this bloody 8th place! If we could keep this form up over the last 12 games it would give us 77 points, that would hopefully take us into the top 6. Of course runs can go both ways and a couple of losses on the bounce would be a problem but after thinking we were struggling we are actually doing okay.

I thought Orient had scored lots more points than us in the last 9 games and it is in fact just 1, that was the real surprise to me, same as I didn't think Barnsley were doing so well. If we can just sort out our away form, who knows, we'll probably finish the season 8th on 90 points!!
 
Compared to last season 3 teams absolutely pissed the league 1 this is way more even.
From top to bottom no guarantees of getting a result.

So we can attack the manager,owner & players it wouldn't make a jot of difference.

Not as good for the last 6 games though ! But better than I thought.
 
Last 9 games mean sod all. It's the next 9 that count and with 4/5 away, if the previous 9's haul is to be replicated or improved on then that away form is going to have to improve.

Tuesday will be a massive game. Luckily there isn't much time on the TG for NC to change too much.

Let's hope he falls flat on his face eh?!

I'm not sure how the last 9 games mean sod all. Is there a new way of working out who gets promoted hat I've not heard about? 😉
 
Strangely, as crap as his football is, Critchley’s win percentage is up there with the best managers we’ve ever had.

Hard to believe we've made up 9 points on Oxford and 6 on Stevenage and are still behind both.
Christmas 2023 will not be remembered favourably!!
