2 Million for Bowler gonna cost us 10

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Sadler hasn't shown barely any ambitions or care towards the team and the transfer window, he isn't the hero we all thought he was believe me. We're a non ambitious selling club under him it's proven already with Bowler going, he saw the money and he accepted it, shows that he doesn't truly care about the club to me. Plus no solid plans on the east stand nor training ground. And don't even get me started on Sadler charging us a ridiculous £30 a ticket, I'm sorry but he's not much better than the Oystons. I can see myself getting slated for this but you'll all remember my warnings in the coming seasons I'm telling you now.
Take this as a slating........we were always relegation favorites. The players brought in are all under a certain age with a reason and plan in place.
I think we probably got promoted a season too early and expectations are now too high in some quarters.
This season I would just be happy to not get relegated, same as last season.
Anything else would be a bonus.

He's now on £1 million+ a year you can 100% guarantee Josh and his agent wanted to go stuff all the club could have done.
I’ve thought about this & I'm ok with the fact Simon Sadler is running a tight ship. It’s something I did agree with in essence, when the last lot of wankers were in charge, but as we all know it wasn’t just them being prudent. We are now a proper football club, not a joke one, winging it whilst being raped. Unfortunately we have to complete with bigger clubs (population wise) plus those who gamble on promotion & overspend, with mixed consequences. Simon Sadler is new to this & is no doubt having to learn quickly & is also having to play catch-up in many areas regarding our infrastructure, which had been badly neglected. I believe he’s going about it in the right way. Who knows how things will pan out in the future. We’ve got an owner who’s actually a supporter & originates from here, unlike some money bags clubs with dodgy rich foreign owners who can only have their interest described as a rich boy’s plaything. Let’s see where we are at Christmas. It may prove necessary to have someone else to buy into it, I really don’t know, unless you have a spare £10-£20 million to invest.

We don't need anyone else to invest that 10-20 million would just go on overpaid football players with no guarantees if that would bring success or failure.

We have to do a 'Brentford' model for the size of our club slowly slowly build and hopefully become a top end Championship club.

Sorry I thought you wanted the club to break any wage structure in order to try & keep Bowler.

I don't know if its Bullshit but there's a little rumour going around that SS wants out. Don't shoot the messenger but I've heard it from a few people now.

Can't see it Scara- I suspect he's a smart fella and came in for the long term.

SS would have no say in Bowler's departure, we all knew it was inevitable. However we have lost our most creative player ,no doubt

We will see other shite performances and great ones this season .
The emotional incontinence we get after a defeat does irk

The idea, as stated by SS, is a good one. Unfortunately someone doesn’t seem to grasp the concept properly, it needs explaining that you can’t sell loans.😁

It wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t think he realised how much needed spending to update the neglected infrastructure, nor how much running a Championship club costs.

Reading this board would anybody blame him. Too many knee jerker wrist slitters on any modern media football supporters forum these days.
Unreasonable one eyed demands for total success oh and better make it super pronto as well . Through thick and thin support is all but gone ...sadly

I think the thing for me about Bowler is he's been shipped off to some Greek country where I doubt he'll be happy in both life and football. Wrong move, greedy from Forest and I'd love to know if there was more we could have done to keep hold of him.
