Only from gaslighting extremists. Of course that's what they want us to think. It suits their despicable agenda. The irony is that those are exactly the beliefs that Hamas send out to the world: a hatred of the unalike. The same ideas that inform the intolerance of IS. They should be challenged and rejected everywhere we uphold the values of tolerance and the rule of law. This is all.over tv in Belgium, shocking.
The issue that keeps coming up is that you cannot integrate non western views into a western society.

What has that got to do with this attack in Belgium?Muslims are also victims of hate. This little lad was only 7 years old.

Becoming an intolerant autocracy is not the answer. We need to be open and receptive, not closed minded and suspicious. The killer was given asylum in 2019
Western Europe has become a soft touch and this will continue as long as countries import terrorists
It’s called balance. And demonstrating that the hate isn’t all one way traffic. What has that got to do with this attack in Belgium?
Of course it isn't I just don't understand why you would post that like some sort of justification for an Islamic terrorist murdering 2 football fans in cold bloodIt’s called balance. And demonstrating that the hate isn’t all one way traffic.
How many times do attacks like these need to happen with the open and receptive approach that Western European countries have?Becoming an intolerant autocracy is not the answer. We need to be open and receptive, not closed minded and suspicious.
Because (as with Israel and Gaza) it’s important to remember the violence is two way traffic. If a thread only addresses the violence coming from one direction it feeds into the narrative of hate that some people seem to be trying to promote.Of course it isn't I just don't understand why you would post that like some sort of justification for an Islamic terrorist murdering 2 football fans in cold blood
Correct, there isn't. That is why we countries need law enforcement and security agencies. Terrorists must be stopped and punished. However, if we were to start banning people from coming here and treating everyone who looks 'foreign' with suspicion, then the terrorists have won. Nobody ever said that democracy, liberty and tolerance are easy virtues for a society to uphold. However, they are important ones and we must defend them resolutely. How many times do attacks like these need to happen with the open and receptive approach that Western European countries have?
There is no dialogue that would help people like this brainwashed Islamic terrorist
Where have I said we need to stop foreign looking people?Correct, there isn't. That is why we countries need law enforcement and security agencies. Terrorists must be stopped and punished. I'm not promoting a narrative of hateBecause (as with Israel and Gaza) it’s important to remember the violence is two way traffic. If a thread only addresses the violence coming from one direction it feeds into the narrative of hate that some people seem to be trying to promote.
And for clarity, I have no hesitation in condemning either the murders of the two Swedish football fans in Belgium or the murder of the 7 year old Muslim boy in the USA. Both are vile and contribute to the downward spiral that appears to be going on currently.
Foreign in the sense of 'not belonging'. I didn't literally mean people from overseas. Then again, if they arrive in small boats I suppose they fulfil both criteria in some people's eyes.Where have I said we need to stop foreign looking people?
Well yeah Western European countries need to stop letting any fucker into the country, boats or not it's a massively risky strategy as proven by more senseless killings at the hands of an Islamic terrorist who was in Belgium illegallyForeign in the sense of 'not belonging'. I didn't literally mean people from overseas. Then again, if they arrive in small boats I suppose they fulfil both criteria in some people's eyes.
