Some poor dismissals tonight with three batsmen throwing there wickets away to put us under pressure in what should have been a stroll after the start Jason Roy gave us, even Morgan on strike in the final over and needing just 4 from 5 deliveries decides to yahoo it in the air and got caught when a six wasn't needed, very poor judgement from the skipper.
I really don't get the Malan inclusion, a top order batsman simply cannot have a strike rate of under 100 in T20 cricket otherwise it puts huge pressure on later order batsmen to play catch up, once more a ponderous 31 from 35 deliveries is just not good enough after previously falling for 1 and 1 in the firs two games. He can get away with it in ODI's and you'd think he has the ability to challenge for a Test spot, but forget T20 cricket.
Many of us on this MB have cried out for Livingstone's inclusion for some time and finally he's proving we were right all along, if Morgan had the forgiveness in him to include Hales, imagine our top order of Hales, Roy, Buttler, Livingstone, Root, Bairstow and Morgan backed up by Vince, Billings and Banton rocking up for the T20 World Cup? The key to the T20 though is the spinners, and with our options there being as strong as they've ever been, the T20 World Cup is definitely within our grasp.
