2nd Jan 2023

even before she was elected selected I thought she wouldn't last much past January of next year, based on the fact that she couldn't be so half-witted as to enact all of the stupid policies she was proposing, but what she is doing does however appeal to the influential parts of the Tory party. So unless those individuals who have major investments which are probably located outside of the UK and have large property portfolios or are simply expecting Truss to do the bidding of the major corporations no matter what it does to the country, it might be a while before serious considerations are made in regard to removing her.

Most tory MPs are not Hyper wealthy, much wealthier than average yes, but they are not part of the 5% that current policies are designed to benefit. so if it goes on for a while i can see the Tory party imploding.

You've got to think, that irrespective of whatever the constitutional norms are, there's no way they could continue in Government without a General Election.

They'd have to go the people immediately they chose a new leader; you can see civil unrest if they don't.

Absolutely bonkers.

If - and it is quite a big if - Truss and Kwarteng continue to cause the pound to plummett and continue their 'play to the rich' policies then some Tories might cross the floor. It would only need about 10 to make the situation intolerable for the governing party.

As I say, that's a big if.
