5 substitutions

I don't recall anyone making a fuss about goalkeepers catching the ball, then falling to the ground to waste a few more seconds, or winning teams players suddenly falling down with cramp, but I know for sure that was done to waste time as well.

All things that already happen.

But stick with the evidence, why wasn't anyone kicking off during the covid season. This is crucial evidence as the rule was in play.

Yet no real issue.

If you can't answer this question the argument based on a feeling can't overcome actual evidence.

But we don't need to wait, we know what will happen as we have seen it only last season, you can't dismiss that.

Will there be at times an extra guy going off, yes.

A small amount of time wasting, on top adding a few more seconds here and there. Some may try and use it, we may try and use it.

But no major issue as PROVEN by the season before.

We all enjoyed that season and no one said... well we got promoted and it was great but only if they weren't allowed those subs.

No one said it. Thats the proof this is ok.

Just had a quick look through the league 1 season and the 5 wasn't always used but found these 2 examples of when we used more.

When we beat Wigan 5-0 we used all five we beat Charlton 3-0 and used 4.

Out of all of our defeats, only once can I see a team used more than 3 subs, they used 4 Shrewsbury away, none after 90 mins in that game, all other times teams didn't use more than 3 when they beat us.

Pretty conclusive evidence.

When the rule was in place no such time wasting occurred against us.

If they add 30 seconds per sub, usually covers it.

But it can't be hard for them to add on the time wasted.
Yes i know they are supposed to add the time back in that way and I agree it should be fairly easy to sort out, but it never seems to cover the full amount of time actually lost/wasted.
