For me, despite the Fergie years, the Treble and all the European success will always define Man United as a club. Maybe it's an age thing but if you asked me for what United's defining moment would be it would be that.

So, what of the same question about Blackpool. Will it always be "53?

Was walking home from primary school ( Norbreck) that day when a friend of mine came out of his house and told me. I ran home and
told my parents but they didn't believe me. Remember it like it was yesterday.

Oh and yes the 53 final will always be our defining moment.

Good question. I suppose it will, but we should be defined by that glorious summer when we were the undisputed Champions of Europe.

I was only 6 at the time and lived in Salford less than 2 miles from Old Trafford .
I remember all the neighbours talking about it and who were the survivors..
The talk was if Duncan Edwards would pull through and it seemed hopeful
We were listening to Children’s favourites on Saturday morning when the sad news of his passing was announced.

I highly recommend 'The Day a Team Died' by Frank Taylor, a journalist who was on the plane and was badly injured, it's very moving.
