It was very easy because we worked hard. The second goal showed the beauty of having wing backs . Jordan G and Thommo did really well. I must say that Beesley ran his socks off down both channels.

I thought Morgan had a great game, playing some delightful passes. Norburn was playing people into trouble then suddenly produced a wonder pass for Gabriel to score.

Morgan was very impressive and has been in recent cameo appearances.

Clearly our MoTM, he looks more like a proper footballing midfielder than anybody else on our books.

I was also impressed by the sponsor's choice Dom Thompson, what a contortionist he is (DT, not the sponsor).

Listened to Radio Gloucestershire who were very fair saying it was straightforward for the pool and FGR offered little threat. Got to admire their small (50 ?) fans traveling up on Tuesday night and made themselves heard. They will struggle to keep in the league but hope they do.

It was possession based football with no one having a bad game IMO, it didn’t really ever get you out of your seat all night apart from Norburns brilliant pass for Gabriel.

It is significantly less tiring as a player when your team dominates possession.

With a packed schedule those extra rest margins will become critical. I’d rather 3-0 and easy ride than our players flogged and winning 5-0

Yes we won 3-0 but it wasnt sealed till late on when he started to bring some fresh "1st team" legs on.

We dominated throughout and rarely looked troubled. We wasted so many good openings and chances, particularly in the first 45. It was frustrating to not put the game to bed before the 75th minute but ultimately it was as comfortable a win as you could wish for.

Much like the Carlisle game, although FGR gave us more trouble. Keeper error cost them in 1st half. He looked very dodgy.
