6pm Walking Football

You had to sign up by yesterday and I couldn't commit as I had to go to York

As it happens I am back

Another has just asked me if its on who won't be able to come
 
Tim why dont you contact the trust and explain why and see if you can come down,we could do with you down to be honest ,i reckon we could only have about 8/10 DOWN HOPEFULLY C U THEIR

They were very clear that you had to have the forms back by yesterday

Problem with a lot of our group is they aren't members and so don't get the emails
 
Cant do any harm to ask though ,think it needs to be made a bit simpler for people to book even on the day as things happen ,and also some people might not no wether they can make it until the actual day .

The arrangements have been made very clear. It has a lot to do with the ‘track and trace’ regulations. There is no turning up on the day...
 
I understand that but still stand by what i have said about being able to book on the day maybe with a 1pm cut off point
 
I get all that too but in the main people use the 6pm session because they’re working in the day. I’ve been very lucky for a while but I never know from one day to the next how busy I’ll be at any given time and there has been occasions where I’ve been planning to play but I’ve ended up having to stay at work and I’m sure others are in the same position. I think there really needs to be a walk up option from next week or the 6pm session numbers could really suffer.
 
You can turn up on the day and pass on your contact details at non league football matches with far bigger crowds. This session is typically drawn from the same pool of people. Either way if it's about Track and Trace then not sure how advance booking helps.
 
Agreed this needs to be looked at as otherwise e are going to struggle to put a meaningful session on

There would have been three more tonight if later bookings were allowed

I'll take it on the chin as I knew the rules and just didn't get around to booking as I was always 50/50 at best

The other two are non-members who had no idea of the rules
 
Yes recall that though presumably you could overcome that by allowing players to defer until the contactless payment system was available

Hope first session goes ok - should be there next week

4 a side so down on the Stanley Park numbers but still a good game. The advanced booking issue aside it all worked well to be fair.
 
No tim there was 7 of us so brad went in nets ,played 4 a side ,dont see why we cant have walk ups as we were the only teams doing the signing and temp checks ,any way hopefully c u next week
