We we’re awful first half, but we created lots of chances second half and we’re unlucky not to get “something”.

It seem to work better when Dembele replaced Beesley.

Yes….disappointing but things could come good yet.

Despite a “very negative” result, let’s all stick together and embrace the second half positives and hope we can start doing it from the off not after an awful first half.

We never get anything at Wycombe, and I didn't expect much today.

Definitely a work in progress, but Critch has some major problems to solve. We'll never get consistency from CJ, so how do you play him?

He needs to start selecting playing our better players .... as the system, whatever it is, isn't working.

Too early for that for me the Wigan result after the second half performance today I am up for giving him another six games at least.

I agree after last seasons lessons we shouldn’t leave it any longer if things have not improved by then.

We all have different opinions though and are entities to them too👍🧡

They were 2 nil up and just sat back, they dictated the second half and we couldn't break them down. It was the wrong formation, again, and Critchley is going to take us down if he stays.

Much better second half. Maybe Dembele should start. Hopefully a positive for the reading game.

Do we get points now for a slightly better 2nd half performance when the opp are defending a 2 nil lead?

No’ we didn’t get any points that’s why I say “A Bad Day” but there were “glimmers” of hope for improvement that’s my ONLY point.

I’m as disappointed and frustrated as the rest of us tonight !! 🚌🧡

The game was all but over by just into the second half. WTF is Critchleys logic I really don’t know.

Yes we looked better but Wycombe had stopped playing and were just managing the game. Before that they could have and should have made it extremely embarrassing for us. I don't think the last 25 mins tells us anything of note really.

Us who spent fortunes to go and watch that it’s abit different.

In my opinion he's s got to stop playing players out of their natural position it's clearly not working.
It's frustrating as hell with this over exaggerated possession which usually comes to nothing. This has to be tweaked for more of a direct end result.
It's mad Exeter top Port Vale 2nd.

It was a dire performance with almost no merit for anyone involved.

However rather than getting hysterical and calling for (insert current managers name here) I’ll give Critchley the time he deserves.

Let’s see if he selects a different side next game.

If not you can hand me one of your pitchforks lad.

Commentators summed up the despair when they reminded us that .... of course, Blackpool are missing some key players - like Lavery.
FFS you couldn't make it up ... make that G&T a treble.

The thing is I want him to do well, but if he keeps on going with this formation and playing Connolly as a LWB, which is the single most stupid positioning of a footballer since football began, how is it going to improve?

Sadler won't pull the trigger quickly but Critchley isn't protected this time so he won't have that long if things don't change and improve.

we just didnt get CJ on the ball the two times he got a run at their defence he got a cross in a won a corner, i think their left back had a decent game and stuck close to him . . . . . . but . . . . because we dont really have have an option downour left unless saint james of the husband gets down the byline, if CJ is blocked off we just pass side to side to side and backwards and side to side to side and backwards and side to side to side and backwards and side to side to side and backwards and side to side to side and backwards and side to side to side and backwards zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

if anything its a work in regression, we looked quite good preseason, and we seem to be getting steadily worse, and its seemingly draining the confidence out of the players.
 
I wouldn't mind if I understood what the plan was. If you're playing a five, why didn't we sign a left back pre season ? Is CJ playing a Trent Alexander- Arnold right back floating in midfield or is Pennington right back and CJ wide right. Surely you pick a system to suit the players you have.
 
On the plus side, it means I can watch an old episode of ‘Midsomer Murders’ on ITVX tomorrow afternoon, instead of ‘The Full 90’ on TTV.

But it was FU@%(^& Wycombe, we're in league one, playing players out of position, in debt (debt is debt) of course interest-free to Sadler, no training ground started after over three years and until at least the manager pivots we're screwed. As with our needless relegation last season the table doesn't lie both in points accrued and goals for/against.

It’s no easier to say or whether I’ve spent nowt or £10K. It’s about mindset, not finance.

I’ve watched Blackpool lose football games for 40 years or so. Home and Away 👍

I understand you have. I’ve watched us lose for 27 years.
Is harder to take when you’ve traveled 8 hours and spent 200 without having a proper effort on goal then it is watching from home and saying we will be ok. Would you not agree ?

I can answer that, in the reserves would be the answer..he's no way good enough, 1decent game in a dozen is all he's capable of, I used to think, there's a player in there, but no way is he good enough, unfortunately..

It’s one of them…

I’ve never found a day out travelling and having a crack with my mates to be a chore. To my mind, it’s worse for those who have to watch us lose without having the benefit of a decent day out.

Enjoy it while it lasts … Win or lose … you’re making memories 👍
