A nation not to be trusted

And many, many people struggle to run a home whilst holding down two low paid jobs. Are they lazy?
All the care-home workers, school and hospital cleaners - are they lazy?
Junior doctors working twelve to 18 hour shifts - lazy?
Young people on internships, getting paid nothing in the hope of getting on in life - lazy?
The next time you go for a pint, will the person serving you or washing your glass be lazy?
Supercilious or what?!
Listing random workers and asking if they're lazy misses Tango's point completely. He's saying the English don't want to do basic manual work. That's why pubs, fruit farms, restaurants, hotels and others are struggling to survive. And yes I am speaking from personal experience.

Your talking poo. I've mentioned low paid jobs that millions do. I wasn't being random. Just admit, you have an agenda.

My agenda is to recruit staff. Come back when you have some real life evidence to support your bizarre theory.
What? My bizarre theory that British workers aren't lazy? What is it with some people on this site? They get all in a huff about 'lefties' being unpatriotic then come on to disparage British working people. Now that's bizarre.

No, your bizarre theory that British workers are rushing to fill manual work vacancies. Are there huge numbers of jobs available in pubs, restaurants, fruit farms? Are Brits applying for the jobs? Are Wetherspoons crying out for staff because Brits won't apply? Have you ever tried to recruit? No. thought not.

Sorry you've invented something here. On this thread the British workforce were referred to as lazy. I wasn't happy with that and responded accordingly.
I have not made any reference to the types of jobs that have vacancies or about the numbers applying for them.

I think you're making up stories. I said nothing about lazy Brits. I said

I merely agreed with Tangojoe that this should be an opportunity for unemployed Brits to take manual work, but they're not interested. Now you can dress that up any way you like but it's a fact.

No, I know you didn't say it. I said, I responded to a thread that said it. There's no need to personalise everything.

Brits lazy? Or Brits too savvy to take on poorly paid jobs?

Sorry Tommy Two Jags but it looks like the well of cheap foreign labour has run dry and employers are going to have to put their hands in their pockets and pay the going rate to attract British staff.

And if prices, inflation and interest rates have to go up, or businesses fail, well I expect that’s what is called “a market adjustment”.

Brits lazy? Or Brits too savvy to take on poorly paid jobs? It's one of those two. If it means employers have to pay higher wages then so be it. So log as those who won't work don't expect to pick up unemployment benefits that's fine with me.
