A poll for next manager

Who do you want?

I’m sitting on the fence, with the poll, I think we should probably go with someone we’ve never heard of with Dobbie as first team coach, or at least part of the coaching team as a way of getting valuable experience for the succession process.

Evatt and Wellens are the only two decent options on that list!
Evatt by miles would be the best choice for next Blackpool manager, but obviously highly unlikely to come just now.
Which then leaves Wellens as the best choice there

Now there's a vision; you sat on a fence with a Pole. The question is, does she like the experience?

Any appointment comes with a risk. Wellens has had indifferent spells as a manager at both Doncaster and Salford.

Evatt will it want this role now.

For me it’s Dobbie or a young manager that looks to play in the right way. Pete Wild being a good example.

I think if we're going down the no-name youth manager route again, then surely Dobbie is now that and more because he has some interim first-team experience and is not some random set-piece coach from united.

I think having a manager who knows the club and knows the team will do us some good, and he might even be interested in staying and building a project given his connection to the club and fans.

Let's see how Dobbie does, pointless calling it until we've seen these games.

He's a popular figure so would be a popular appointment.

Bar Dobbie (who is as yet unproven) that list shows we need to go for someone else! Full of stale talent.

Surely they should be realistically available@
I think there's no chance of Evatt leaving his current club.

Too early to tell if Dobs is the one. I'd certainly not be disappointed if he turns out to be.

If not him them Simmo.

Nathan Jones.
He is the standout choice for me - it’s a no brainier if we can get him. He will be desperate to prove he is not a one trick pony at Luton and succeed somewhere else. The Luton team that is doing so well now is his team built over 2 or 3 years with wise and sensible investment.

Critchley
Wouldn’t mind if Dobbie was given the chance to be honest but think SS will go back to NC and I can see why.

With Dobbie alongside him as a coach or assistant so he can learn on the job . No doubt Critchley is a very good coach but if we want a good succession plan then the Dobster has to be involved .
