A tale of two game-plans…

..one well planned against us at home, and executed to perfection. We should have been behind at half-time and they ripped us a new one, on the break second half. Well worked and finished goals.

The other plan, well predictable and back to square one. Kouassi may not have been able to play a full match, but start him and take the game to Derby. We lost the initiative from the first whistle.

Dembele must be wondering wtf is going on. Asked to do a job he’s clearly not suited to, then hauled off when he’s the only player dropping deep and causing them lots of problems. The very obvious substitution was Kouassi for Carey.

Momentum lost, but not unexpected. Sadly, it’s the way of things under NC.

Spot on. A smart manager against someone who persistently overthinks and deploys his subs by rote.
