Chaotic scenes have been repeated up and down the country, but particularly in the North and the Midlands as millions of people have turned up with damaged and diseased feet.
The Royal College of Emergency Surgeons have reported their members having to focus on gunshot wounds. Some of these wounds date back as far as June 2016, while others are more recent, but still over 2 and a half years ago.
A spokesman speculated these were self-inflicted wounds. He was baffled why people hadn't come forward earlier, and stated that while a few of them could be rehabilitated, the great majority would suffer pain and anguish for many years to come.
