Can see Joey Barton setting them up to frustrate, be nice to be safely in the play offs then and give it the twunt. As poor as we were tonight I’m confident we will get our arses in gear and get 6 points from:
Shrewsbury H
Sunderland A
Northampton A
Doncaster H
Bristol Rovers H
Then anything goes.
and Bristol Rovers now effectively relegated apart from GD, and will def be relegated by time we play themAs poor as we were tonight I’m confident we will get our arses in gear and get 6 points from:

Shrewsbury are almost safe and maybe feel the pressure is off, Sunderland are beatable and will have had a kick in the bollox after their result tonight, decent chance Northampton will be relegated by then, Donny are in awful form and Bristol Rovers are the worst team in the league. It’s a good run in, and completely ours to lose.As poor as we were tonight I’m confident we will get our arses in gear and get 6 points from:

I don’t honestly care where we finish so long as it means we have a crack at the playoffs. Saying that I wouldn’t mind being at home for our second leg if we can get 4000 in Bloomfield RoadI would rather we finished 4th or 5th rather than 6th. But 6th is a lot better than 7th.
Was there as well that night mate and from memory we hit the bar and lost 1-0. The rest as you rightly say is historyHopefully by the time "Joey Barton's Bristol Rovers" roll into town we'll be safely secured in the top six and we will rest a few players. I actually think we will be guaranteed a play off spot with two games to spare and i'm not bothered who we would meet in the play offs either, let them all worry about us. Teams below are running of out games and apart from Charlton, the results went our way tonight and another two wins will see us past the post with games to spare.
Michael Jackson hit the nail on the head in commentary when he remembered an away game at Rotherham in 2007. I was there that night, we were gash just like tonight, then what happened after that, we won ten in a row. I'm not saying we'll win every game we've got left but anyone with a sense of intelligence would know that we were unlikely to keep the current unbeaten run going without a blip. Keep The Faith.
TP, I've just done all that you've posted on the BBC site. Nothing like a bit of reassurance to take to bed.Oxford have three fixtures left, they win all 3 that puts them on 74 points.
Pompey have four fixtures left, they win all 4 that puts them on 77 points.
2 wins puts us on 74 points. 2 more wins and we most likely secure a play-off spot as I highly doubt those two teams are going to win all of their remaining fixtures - we can easily pick up more than 6 points from our remaining 5 games, securing the play-offs is in our hands and would take a huge capitulation combined with other results completely going against us to throw it away now.

Didn’t they only sell beer in cans? I have a strange memory for bars that don’t sell Budweiser in bottlesI remember more about going in the worst bar I've ever been in that that night, down that alley near the away end. It made Morty's Bar look like The Waldorf.
I remember that club. It was indeed bad. Horrible dark hole.I remember more about going in the worst bar I've ever been in that that night, down that alley near the away end. It made Morty's Bar look like The Waldorf.
Thankfully I'd had a few on the way there so didn't hang around in that gaff. Hills have eyes job.
Yes just cans.
Simon Grayson got sent off by the ref for losing his rag and went and stood in a big unfinished stand behind the dugout. Think it's all still there, frozen in time. Including Grayson.
Run had to end eventually. We’ll make the playoffs but we need a few bodies back, bench is so weak unfortunately.Perhaps we needed that loss tonight to get our arses in gear for the remaining games and play-offs.
Another reason why we are....... we only lost by 1 goal last night, Pompey lost by 2Two reasons why we aren't.
1. Win last night and we'd be nearly there and could finally start to rest players
2. Psychologically that performance will have done them no good
Two reasons why we are
1. We've been cruising and getting away with it the last few games
2. We have enough games to change it
