Adam/Ollie??

I would back it but im not sure its the best of options tbf.

As for Director of Football I recall us signing Craig Sutherland who no one had ever heard of on the basis that Kim Holloway had viewed a DVD of him.

We can't have that sort of stuff going on. We've moved on surely ?

Some haven't.

It's funny the whole obsessive Ollie thing. Sorts the lunatics from all the others.

Give the job to Dobbie now.
We’ve already seen an upbeat change in the short time he’s been here so let him continue.
He plays the kind of football we all like to watch and I for one would rather see my team win a few games, albeit in Division 1, than get beat nearly every week in a league where it is is blatantly obvious we can’t compete in with the players we have.
It will all be about keeping our main core of players and if that can happen then we will have a good chance.
If some of our players think they will be good enough to get into a Championship side then they are deluded.
Stay put, get some wins and confidence will automatically follow.

What’s more interesting about that tweet is the comment regarding interviews. Is he suggesting that we’ve interviewed candidates that are either poor choices or would be disliked by fans?

How can we view this tweet ? Link ? Or can someone copy and paste the contents.

I simply cannot see an Ollie and Charlie combo being appointed.

Charlie is a good bloke. Like others say would be good to give him a role .

The benefit of employing people who have an affinity with BFC cannot imo be underestimated provided they are competent .

I can see Ollie being Director of football, he'd be perfect in that role. Prefer Dobb's as manager. (Prefer Jones or Evo as manager in reality but that is never going to happen)
i can imagine having a nutty professor as head coach (holloway) but i think director of football needs to be a bit more . . . . normal.

i think holloways mojo has gone, hes done nothing since Palace really. wouldnt be overly excited by CA as head coach, ive heard him on commentary he doesnot come across as being particularly analytical.

Would think that the ones interviewed already and the way he says they haven't come out for good reason would prob be someone like Fat Karl sacked by Oxs

Just my view, but both are yesterday’s men re BFC today. Both achieved much in their time here, boosting the club at the time, but were quick to walk away when better opportunities came a-knocking, which I can understand, but neither particularly looked back with much affection afterwards.

Really don’t see what either would bring to the table now.

Given Critchley's contacts and status within the game I would prefer to have him in a key position at the club even if someone more popular (Dobbie? Adam? Thommo?) were given a role as well.

I could never see IH as a No 2. He'd last about 3 games.
"What you talking about pal... Hello, are you listening.

I'd like to see the Premier league EFL EVEN TRY to tell me, who we can pick. I am the assistant manager of Blackpool football club, 1st team...."

'Couple that have been interviewed that haven't come out for good reason'

Alexander, Critchley, Grayson, Appleton 😆

Fat Karl has apparently got the assistant gig with Fat Sam at Leeds so he won't be joining, Sammy Lee is on jury service. :)

Appointing Dobbie or CA is a big risk, without someone with experience, there will be a big rebuild needed. Not sure about Ollie, he knows the process and he did well when we got relegated after the premier league by getting new players in. I would not like to leave it to just Mansford and a totally inexperienced manager, especially after last season's summer transfer window.

If so many of you think that Ollie would be good, why isn't he in a decent managerial post now??
Dave, he wasn't in any managerial job when he came to us. He'd left Plymouth when they were doing well, just for better money at Leicester, who he then took down to the 3rd tier for the first time ever. When he came to us I was massively unimpressed!

"all had strong mentions....." what does that even mean? Strong mentions from the Tooth Fairy

The one person who I have heard speak really well where things haven’t been working is Steve Thompson.

Adam & Holloway is not beyond the realms, people on here talk about a lack of intelligence, CA will know the game backwards. With the experience the pair of them have they could put a very good case forward to SS. I would imagine they could identify the type of players needed to add to the squad. If SD isnt offered the post I would not be disappointed if these two got it.
