There’s been a bit of chaffing from the usual suspects about how people are becoming too keen on furlough and need to be weaned off it.
Now I know when they say that, lots of people are referring to the employees on furlough.
But really the ones who have seen the real benefit of this initiative (I applaud it by the way) are the businessmen who have had a huge wedge of their costs subsidised by the taxpayer, so they can avoid insolvency and job losses.
So just who needs to be weaned of it? The bosses or the workers?
