Spent decent money on knobber Stockley and Shrimp Lavelle. Also brought in a veteran Danish goalscorer who crapped out and got released fairly quickly. Spending it and spending it well ain’t the same

Lavelle is a decent player. I'd say he'll come good for them

Another option is to stop recycling the same old failures who did a decent gig years ago, and identify new hungry talent and give them a go.

Then look to go coach players with an attitude to succeed who will give all for the shirt and never give up - then use that coaching talent to bring the best out of them.

Or… keep giving money to the same old, same old to spend spend spend. Give them a year, sack them and start again.

Sorry to hear you no longer have a happy valley. Maybe it's time she bit the bullet and turned Tangerine. I know she likes us. It was a ground I always looked forward to visiting so give her my commiserations.

He's been more hit than miss as a manager but I think he might struggle to get another chance after this. I'm sure he won't have the media telling us all what a decent guy he Is and we have to feel sorry for him like Steve Bruce or get an 8 million pound pay off.
