Evening,

Just a quick message to ask for your support tomorrow evening! Mechs host Pilkington tomorrow evening at Jepson Way looking to keep our spot at the top of the league. AFC have lost just one game this season and play some lovely football, keeping the ball on the deck and possession of the ball. The visitors Pilkington sit just below us in the league in 4th and have also lost just one game.

This will no doubt be a tight game of football between the two sides, your attendance could help AFC push that extra 10% to get the three points! Our new seats in the main stand will be available to sit in, or if you fancy there's plenty of covered standing room to enjoy the game and a beer!

Yes I'll be down watching, Mechs (they'll always be Mechs to me!) have an excellent young side this season with 5 or 6 17/18 year old players who look really good prospects, also Squires Gate are at home too across the road.
 
Two of us from FY6 going. Really enjoyed the Holker game so back for more. Should be another exciting game. Good luck
 
Disappointing 4-1 loss for Mechs, they were without a number of key players but some defensive lapses being the biggest factor in the defeat to an experienced and street wise Pilkingtons outfit.

Well that didn't go to plan! Thank you to those that came and supported us. Plenty of chances for us and some suspect defending on the night. Hopefully it's out of our system now...
 
Good game though - even with several team changes. Blackpool game back strongly after going 2 down. Could and probably should have made it 2 2 and then a minute later it was 3 1. Then Pilkingtons took control. Enjoyed the night and atmosphere - just short of a 100 there
