Mill Farm Stadium Approved To Host Mass Covid-19 Vaccination Centre

On Wednesdasy, the Football Club announced that in the fight against coronavirus, Mill Farm has been approved by the NHS to become one of the North West’s Covid-19 vaccination centre’s.

As of Monday 25th January, Bradley’s Bar located inside Mill Farm Stadium will be converted for this purpose by Imaan Healthcare, who own the nearby Wesham Pharmacy. Here, they will be able to administer the vaccine to vulnerable groups in line with government protocol.
Following extensive discussions, the facility will be adapted to meet the necessary standards to allow a safe and efficient delivery of the vaccine whilst critically maintaining social distancing requirements.
AFC Fylde Chairman, David Haythornthwaite, said: “I got a phone call out of the blue from Saghir. He explained the difficulty he was having trying to get a vaccination hub established at the local community centre in Wesham and could I help? We quickly established what was needed, and we proposed Bradley’s Sports Bar. It is a perfect location for the Fylde Coast with easy access and lots of parking, so I am absolutely delighted we can help the government and the local community with this vitally important program. It is amazing to think that we will be vaccinating around 400 people a day from next Monday. I believe we are the first football club in the country to cooperate in this fashion and we are all very proud to be part of the program.”

Taking my 78 year old mother here for her jab on monday. It was here or Blackburn Cathedral. She lives in Blackpool but this is her nearest opportunity.

That roof on the main stand is just as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, on a rainy day with a bit of wind and everyone will be getting wet.
So you don’t get wet first 10 rows at Bloomfield road then when it rains and the wind blows in? Probably the same at 91 other league clubs as well.
What a silly comment. 🙄

You probably do but I wasn't on another teams forum praising our main stand.
Other forums? 🤔

Ive praised Burnley this morning for a great solid victory last night the same thread that you moaned about them being a dull side.

I always give credit where it’s due no matter who the club is.

Try to be positive once in a while life’s not all as dull as it seems even in these challenging times. 👍

What I'd find dull in other teams, I'd find a rivetting defensive performance in mine. That's part of being a fan.
Like I’ve said previously a good result tomorrow and they’ll be plenty of positives posted from me, even if we lose but turn in a good shift.
Shame half this board prefer to moan about Brexit and what a shoite Government we have instead.
(No pun intended by the way Wiz)
