They said they'd shift a thousand. They were all over Twitter at the time bragging about it. How many did they actually organise? 180 was it? A couple of hundred?

Not a bad effort really, but if they hadn't chatted a lot of shite about it they would of got a lot more credit. They never learn either. Somebody needs to sack off the idiots they have doing Twitter cos they do them no favours.

Without getting too deep into it their intentions were based on getting more casual attendees to commit to a season ticket to help rebuild the support after the “war” years with the Oystons . There were issues with the installment scheme operating at the time so many who expressed an interest had to withdraw . 1000 was just a target I think .
