Anyone been? Any good bars or restaurants? Do's or donts? Any advice is more than welcome. I fly out Wednesday

Went a long time ago now. Was ok from what I remember. Did a trip into the desert villages on motorbikes which was good and also a trip to the Berber villages for a night which I recommend. You can also get a hamam, which is like a Turkish bath. Also worthwhile.
We did a bus trip and overnight stay to Marrakesh from Agadir which I definitely recommend and it came back via Essouriya (not sure of spelling) which is a cool little artists coastal resort. Had a good time. Hope you enjoy.

Couple - me and mrs shanks.

Got a dune buggy tour booked but wondered if theres any hidden gems I need to seek out.
Dune buggy sounds rad👍

Camel ride at Banana Beach is a bit different, if you get a car drive up the coast to Taghazoute, I doubt you’ll be a surfer but if you have the slightest interest it’s worth going to Anchor Point to watch the waves, it’s a world class spot.

Keep an eye out for gangs of Camels and goats in trees, always amusing to see.

It’s a long time since I went so can’t recall that much about Agadir itself but as with anywhere in the world you will get a more authentic experience if you get off the beaten track.

Went on a cruise a few years ago. Not impressed. People trying to sell you drugs and the number of vendors on the beach was ridiculous.

When refusing to go down a side street to‘help’ someone translate a letter from an English penpal was told to f*ck off and never come back.

Hope you have a better experience.

Yes...it would be amusing to see a camel in a tree...possibly getting a leg-up from a goat.

So it was you that wouldn't read out the letter I sent to my mate Abdeljalil? He only asked.
