A lot of teams would have lost at Exeter today - in good form, home crowd’s first home game and a feeling of confidence - I reckon we did well there and could have nicked it.
From memory these were the sort of games we were losing early doors last time and so this is a positive.
Two big home games coming up …
 
I think what some people forget is that yesterday was like the first day of the season to 50% of fans when they get to see their team for the first time and, for me, had we lost 0-0 the previous week I'd have been disappointed whereas a point away from home is always a positive at any point in the season.
 
A few clubs will come unstuck at these grounds over the next 9 months and sooner take a point on a decent Saturday in August than be down there on a Tuesday night in December!
 
.. and read all the Vale expectations of tonight's game and they've said they'll snatch your hand off for a draw and probably play 9 behind the ball. It's sadly that sort of a league.
