I think his recent games have gone under the radar a bit.
Start of the season he was a regular part of a rather pedestrian and laboured midfield, and he (probably rightly) made way for a good month. Starting with his sub appearance at Oxford, I think there's been a noticeable difference in his approach.
Fairly obvious thing to say, but Critch has been in his ear. At Oxford he came on and drove our final 20 mins onslaught (admittedly against a team sitting so deep they were in Banbury). But he was suddenly mobile, always asking for the ball, driving forward, and although the Oxford game was heavily influenced by Kaddy further up, it was Albie often getting things started behind him.
He's maintained the mobility levels, and some real bite in tackles. I think I'm right in saying has been involved in every game since. We're all expecting a Dougall/Norburn centre - one or both depending on the game - but I think Albie is now showing he can provide solid backup and should be third in the CM selection order.
